One of those guys to get a big payday was wide receiver DeVonta Smith, who just signed a three-year, $75 million deal.

Travis Kelce asked Jason about his former teammate on the New Heights podcast and questioned if he was underrated.

"Is Smitty an underrated part of this offense? Do you think he doesn't get enough credit?" Travis asked.

Jason said Smith certainly isn't underrated within the Eagles organization, but he might get overlooked around the league.

"I don't think he's underrated by any player on the team," Jason said.

"Look, he's playing next to the best wide receiver in the NFL in AJ Brown, so it's easy to see that maybe he gets less credit than is probably deserved.

"I can tell you better than anyone on the Eagles, the route running ability of DeVonta Smith is insane to watch in person.

"You talk about my dance moves versus your dance moves, this is the smoothest motherf**ker I know."

Smith was drafted by the Eagles in 2021 with the No. 10 overall pick out of Alabama.

He has become an instant success and constant contributor to the Eagles, going for 3,178 yards in three seasons in the NFL.

He has scored 19 touchdowns in his 49 games played with the Eagles.

"Silky smooth on and off the field," Jason said.

"You see some of the things he's wearing? He's smooth no matter what. He talks smooth.

"He's also just one of those guys, he is just one of those mentally tough killers that I've played with. In the best possible way."

Starting in the 2025 season, Smith will be making $25 million per year on his new contract.

Over $50 million of his $75 million deal is guaranteed.
