The back-to-back Super Bowl champions have added plenty of offensive weapons to the roster in free agency and the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Chiefs defended the title despite entering the 2023 season with a fairly unimpressive receiving corps.

And it seems they will only be more dangerous after significantly upgrading their offense.

Kansas City signed ex-Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown and former Cincinnati Bengals tight end Irv Smith Jr. in free agency.

And during the 2024 NFL Draft, the Chiefs made a splash by picking speedster Xavier Worthy out of Texas in the first round.

Both Brown and Worthy be able to pose some serious vertical threat on the field for Patrick Mahomes and Co.

And in an appearance on Up & Adams, Kuechly, 33, predicted their presence would greatly benefit Kelce, 34.

"I think the biggest winner this offseason with the Chiefs is Travis Kelce," the ex-NFL linebacker told Kay Adams on Friday.

"You're bringing Marquise Brown, vertical speed down the field.

"Xavier Worthy, vertical speed down the field.

"Now there's going to be all these layers within the defensive space for Travis Kelce [to] just run around even more than he's been able to and catch these balls so uncontested.

"These guys are running Mach 5 down the field on overs and crossers, and Travis Kelce just runs underneath and catches the ball.

"You better believe that Andy Reid has got something creative up his sleeve now that he's got these two speedy, vertical guys that can just fly down the field."

The Chiefs traded up with the Buffalo Bills to select Worthy, 20 at No. 28 overall on Thursday.

The ex-Texas standout broke the 40-yard dash record at the scouting combine earlier this year.

Mahomes, 28, evidently loved Kansas City's 2024 draft strategy.

The Chiefs traded up again in the second round to select offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia.

After the pick, the two-time NFL MVP lauded Kansas City general manager Brett Veach for his decision-making.
