MOLLY Qerim took a break from the screen to enjoy living life in the fast lane.

And sharing the shot with Aston Martin's Formula One car, Qerim is sure to have sent pulses racing.

While racing fans will be delighted to see the TV star take an interest in their sport, First Take viewers are on track for another meltdown.

Qerim also missed Thursday's edition of the sports debate show with Christine Williamson taking her place on the broadcast.

A firm fan favorite, viewers flocked onto social media to demand an explanation.

"Where is Molly?" asked one agitated fan on X.

"@FirstTake why are you ruining this show?" fumed another.

"Another vaca for Molly. Shocker...catching up with SAS," laughed another.

Williamson has become the regular stand-in for Qerim when she is away from filming.

She took the reins after the regular host jetted off for a week-long vacation in an "undisclosed tropical location" after the NFL season finished.

And she also celebrated turning 40 in Portugal.

Earlier this week, Qerim called for help as  Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe had a brutal debate.

Viewing numbers have only increased since ESPN execs brought NFL Hall of Famer Sharpe over from FS1.

It achieved its most-watched March in history earlier this year, with a seven percent rise compared to 2023.

Molly and Stephen A. brought in an average viewership of 466,000, dwarfing that of most of the shows on the same morning slot.

It was also the 20th consecutive month of year-on-year growth, according to ESPN.

Molly Qerim's career timeline

MOLLY Qerim has risen through the ranks to become on the faces of ESPN.

The popular sports host began her media career in 2006 with ESPN and spent four years with the network.

She then covered college basketball and football for CBS Sports Network in New York.

And Qerim balance that with hosting duties for NFL Network in Los Angeles - fronting NFLAM and NFL Fantasy Live.

The host returned to ESPN in 2015 and immediately took the role of First Take anchor.

And Qerim has been an ever-present, popular host of the daily sports debate show ever since.

First Take airs every weekday from 10 am ET on ESPN.
