TUA Tagovailoa's brother is getting a shot to follow in his footsteps in the NFL.
Former Alabama and Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa was extended an invitation to take part in the Seattle Seahawks' rookie minicamp.
Taulia lobbied for a sixth year of eligibility in the NCAA, but his request was denied.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said the Dolphins had their eyes on Taulia in the draft, saying Tua lobbied to add him to the team.
"Tua lobbies for the person and the player, but Tua is not a hoarder of his family members," McDaniel said.
"He wants him to go in the best situation. He's a good kid."

Taulia was named the Polynesian College Football Player of the Year in 2023 and was a second-team All-Big Ten quarterback in back-to-back years.
He started in all 12 games for Maryland in 2023, leading the Big Ten in completions (290), attempts (437), yards (3,377) and passing touchdowns (25).
However, he also led the Big Ten in interceptions with 11 giveaways on the year.
Taulia was a full-time starter at Maryland from 2021-2023, compiling 10,245 yards and 69 touchdowns in that stretch.

He added on 11 rushing touchdowns and 159 rushing yards to those totals.
Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald was impressed with Taulia's first days at the team's mini camp.
"Good to see them complete the ball today. They are right there," Macdonald said.
"I thought they threw the ball well. They got the cadences, not just snapping on one anymore.
"Thought they handled the ball well."
Current quarterbacks on the Seahawks roster are Geno Smith, Sam Howell and undrafted free agent Chevan Cordeiro.
Taulia would have to massively impress to make his way onto the active roster as the third-string quarterback.
