The Manning brothers have been at the helm throughout, joined virtually by special guests from a variety of industries such as sports, movies, and politics.

One famous face yet to make an appearance is eight-time Super Bowl champion-winning coach Bill Belichick.

However, this is set to change in 2024.

During The Greatest Roast Of All Time: Tom Brady, broadcast live on Netflix on Sunday, Peyton announced that the former New England Patriots boss will be joining their show this upcoming season.

"For those who don't know, Coach is gonna be doing some work on Eli and my Monday Night Football show this year," he said.

"I gotta tell you, it's gonna be awesome. Eli and I are super excited.

"And it's gonna give Coach Belichick something he hasn't had in a while - The chance to be around quarterbacks that he respects."

Exactly how regularly Belichick, whom Peyton described as "the greatest coach in NFL history," will appear or during which games is unclear.

The show usually broadcasts 10 episodes per NFL season.

However, in 2023 this rose to 11 with the addition of a Wild Card special as the Philadelphia Eagles lost 32-9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Peyton was clearly enjoying himself during his surprise appearance on the Netflix special.

The final guest before introducing Brady on stage to get his own back, Peyton had numerous highlight-reel moments during his brief appearance.

"It is great to be here with a bunch of people, sitting around talking smack about Tom Brady," he said.

"Or as we call that in the Manning family, Thanksgiving."

Peyton went on to joke that "after spending several Thanksgivings with my parents, my kids now excuse themselves to use the bathroom by saying, 'I have to go take a Brady.'"

He also took the opportunity to remind Brady of his two Super Bowl losses to Eli.

"One thing that Tom and I definitely have in common though is our love for the game of golf," Peyton said.

"And listen, not to brag, we're both pretty good players.

"My handicap is a 6.4, while Tom's handicap is blowing leads in the Super Bowl to my brother Eli."

Eli too weighed in on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"I thought about attending the Roast of Tom Brady last night, but I did not want to Roast him for a 3rd time!!" he tweeted.

But Brady had the last laugh.

After taking over from Peyton at the microphone, he thanked his counterpart for making the trip to Los Angeles.

"I know sometimes you live in Denver and sometimes you live in Louisiana, but you'll always live in my shadow," Brady joked.
