The Timberwolves crushed Denver 115-70 on Thursday, putting their defensive talent on full display.

They held the Nuggets to just 30.2% from the field and 19.4% for 3 to claim victory after three straight losses.

Edwards, 22, led the offensive effort with a game-high 27 points while logging four rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

ESPN's Dave McMenamin reported the shooting guard expressed confidence that the Timberwolves would force Game 7 right after falling 3-2 in the series two days earlier.

He said that as the two-time All-Star left Ball Arena on Tuesday, he told a locker room attendant the Timberwolves would return for a winner-takes-it-all clash later in the week.

And Edwards confirmed the exchange took place.

"Hell yeah!" he told reporters after Game 6.

"They know. Y'all was in there.

"I told them, 'I'll see y'all motherf***kers for Game 7.'"

NBA fans loved Edwards' candor.
