It started with Adams asking Wagner what he wanted to do after he retires - as he is in the later stages of his career.

"What are you gonna do when you hang it up?" Adams asked.

Wagner went on an entire rant about how special it is that Johnson is an owner of the team now based on how much he looks up to him.

"It's ironic that Magic is a part of the team now," Wagner said.

"That's somebody that I looked up to a lot and I liked the way he transitioned from playing basketball to owning multiple different things.

"That's kind of what I envision my space will look like after this but we'll see."

Adams got a smirk across her face as she questioned if Wagner has built a relationship with Johnson.

"Are you like friends with Magic Johnson now?" Adams asked.

Wagner chuckled and said he hoped they had that good of a relationship.

"I hope so!' Wagner replied.

Johnson is a big time investor, holding stakes in multiple companies and sports teams.

In the NBA, Johnson used to have a stake in the Los Angeles Lakers but sold it in 2004.
