Larson is a full-time NASCAR driver, but he is known to be one of the most talented racers in the sport.

He is using those talents to compete in the upcoming Indy 500, but that comes with a major scheduling conflict.

Indy 500 qualifying took place early in the day on Sunday, but the NASCAR Cup Series All Star race takes place on Sunday night.

Larson did not have enough time to make it to the race, so NASCAR decided to delay the start to accommodate him.

"UPDATE: The green-flag time for tonight's #AllStarRace has been moved to 8:30 p.m. ET to allow @KyleLarsonRacin extra time to arrive at @NWBSpeedway," NASCAR posted on X.

Fans weren't thrilled with the decision to delay the race, saying Larson shouldn't get special treatment.

"Wow that’s crazy would it happen for every other driver?" one fan said.

"Rigged for Larson," another fan said.

"The world doesn’t revolve around Larson," a third fan said.

"Come on. If it was any other driver, they wouldn’t have moved it," a fourth fan said.

Larson is in the midst of an impressive weekend, as he will start 12th in the All Star race.

He also managed to qualify in fifth for the Indy 500, giving him a second-row start.

NASCAR dealt with some issues on Saturday night with extreme weather delaying the Truck Series race and All Star qualifying.

North Wilkesboro Speedway was flooded with multiple feet of water as thunderstorms rolled through the area.

Fans were baffled by the extreme weather taking over the All Star weekend and took to social media to share their shock.

"Might need a boat to get out of here," one fan said.

"North Wilkesboro is a tad on the moist side," another fan said.
