Both men, 35 and 37 respectively, were supposed to take part in a presser to promote the fight in Dublin on Monday evening.

But MMA's top promotion POSTPONED the event early this morning.

They wrote on social media: "The #UFC303 press conference scheduled for Monday, June 3rd in Dublin, Ireland at 3Arena has been postponed until further notice.

"We sincerely apologize to all the fans who were planning to attend.

"When we have further information on a new date and time, we will share it immediately. – Thank you."

And the short-notice cancellation has some fans concerned that the fight itself may be in jeopardy.

One wrote on X: "The fight is gonna get called off."

Another said: "Conor vs Chandler is never gonna happen."

Another chimed in: "The UFC could seriously live to regret not stacking the rest of that card."

One baffled fight fan said: "Until the lights dim and Foggy Dew / Hypnotize plays in the arena, I refuse to believe this fight is happening."

Another frustrated MMA watcher said: "Fight is 100% getting cancelled too lol"

Neither McGregor, Chandler or UFC bigwig Dana White have publicly commented on the postponing of the event.

Former two-division champion McGregor hasn't set foot inside the octagon since breaking his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier nearly three years ago.
