Zach Wilson announces engagement to model Nicolette Dellanno as NFL star pops question during lavish Italian vacation
Wilson is enjoying a break before preparing for the upcoming season on his new team
NFL quarterback Zach Wilson and his model girlfriend have signed a long-term extension.
The NFL star, 24, popped the question while on a fairytale Italian vacation.

Nicolette Dellanno, 22, showed off her ring on social media posing next to her beaming fiance.
"Zach, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me," she captioned her post.
"Everyday I admire your strength and i'm so incredibly proud of you. I'm so in love with you and can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together i love you."
Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos from the New York Jets in March.

And before starting his fight for the No. 1 quarterback job he jetted off to Italy's Amalfi Coast.
"To the love of my life, I never truly understood what love was until I met you," he wrote on Instagram.
"You're not just my partner, but my best friend and my everything.
"I can't wait to make a lifetime of memories with you, Nic I love you."

Dellanno attended James Madison University in Virginia while landing big modeling gigs with companies such as Target.
Aside from her career as a model, she has also worked as a designer for Morgan & Co. making dresses.

Wilson left the Jets after struggling for the past two seasons.
"Obviously, there's bittersweet moments in everything," Wilson told reporters in June.
"I miss the guys [in New York] and everything too.

"But at the same time, a fresh start is good. I'm excited to attack a new challenge.
"It's been three years of tough challenges. But in the end that's what makes you stronger."
