Wimbledon 2024 LIVE RESULTS: Women’s singles semi-finals on TODAY, Novak Djokovic THROUGH to last 4 – latest updates

THE final week of Wimbledon has gotten off to a thriller - and the SW19 tournament has been nothing short of superb.

Novak Djokovic has received a bye into the semi-final after opponent Alex de Minaur pulled out.

The Serbian will take on Lorenzo Musetti tomorrow in a huge last 4 clash on Centre Court.

Today will see the women's singles semi-finals take place at Wimbledon with Donna Vekic taking on Jasmine Paolini before Barbora Krejcikova vs Elena Rybakina.

    Daniil Medvedev will face Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals of the men's singles after beating Jannik Sinner in a five-set thriller.

    The fifth seed had lost his previous five meetings with the Italian.

    Speaking after the match, Medvedev admitted: "I knew if I wanted to beat Jannik it needs to be a tough match.

    "I'm really happy to win, really happy with my game and looking forward."

  • Alcaraz 'believes' in himself

    Carlos Alcaraz overcame losing the first set to beat Tommy Paul at SW19 on Tuesday.

    Explaining how he dealt with the setback, he said: "When I lost the first set it was difficult. But I knew it's a really long journey so I had to stay there.

    "If I'm struggling and the opponent is playing great tennis, I believe I'll be able to come back and find solutions - I believe in myself the whole time."

    Carlos Alcaraz has hailed Daniil Medvedev ahead of their Wimbledon semi-final on Friday.

    Following his win over Tommy Paul, the Spaniard said: "Daniil's a really great player. It's the same semi-final as last year so hopefully I'm going to get the same result.

    "He just won against Sinner, the best player right now, so he's in really good shape and I have to play my best.

    "I have to believe in myself and try to keep going. It's going to be difficult but I'm going to enjoy it."

    Jasmine Paolini has beaten Emma Navarro on Centre Court to book her place in the Wimbledon semi-finals.

    The seventh seed Italian breezed through in straight sets, winning 6-2, 6-1 at SW19.

    Faolini will take on Croatia's Donna Vekic in the last four on Thursday.

    Carlos Alcaraz is into the semi-finals at Wimbledon after beating Tommy Paul in four sets.

    The reigning champion came from behind to advance 5-7, 6-4, 6-2, 6-2 on Court Number One.

    Alcaraz will face Daniil Medvedev in the last four on Friday.
