  • Here comes Emma

Not much break after that Alcaraz win.

And now Emma Raducanu is out on Centre Court, warming up for her fourth-round clash with Lulu Sun.

SunSport has taken up its position in the wonderful press seats in this magnificent stadium.

Raducanu is aiming to reach the quarter-finals here at Wimbledon for the first time.

  • British star avoids fine

Jack Draper has avoided being slapped with a Wimbledon fine after smacking his bag with his racquet.

The British No1, 22, endured a disappointing campaign at this year's Championships.

Draper went in with high expectations having beaten Carlos Alcaraz at Queen's.

But after scraping past Elias Ymer in five sets in round one, he fell in straights to compatriot Cameron Norrie.

During the Centre Court match with Ymer, Draper's frustrations threatened to boil over.

At one point he smacked his bag with his racquet… but avoided striking the precious Wimbledon grass.

Had he done so, he would have received a hefty fine.

With Wimbledon's playing surface delicately maintained, any player that damages it is liable to punishment.

  • Alcaraz escapes

After that woeful 6-1 set, Alcaraz had to battle hard in the fourth against Humbert.

But a poor smash from the Frenchman gifted Alcaraz a break point at 5-5 which he converted.

And he closed it out on serve, sealing victory with an emphatic ace.

    The 2023 champion is through.

And that means next up on Centre, it's Emma!

  • Keys retirement moment

Here is the moment Madison Keys could no longer carry on and had to retire against Paolini.

Paolini will now face either No2 seed Coco Gauff or No19 seed Emma Navarro in the quarter-finals.

  • Sinner gets early break on No1

World No1 Jannik Sinner has got underway against Ben Shelton in what should be a hugely entertaining contest.

And a stray forehand long on break point from the American gifts the Italian the early break.

  • Rain returns

    And it's back.

The rain is falling on the All England Club once more.

That means Paula Badosa must wait to serve out the second set against Donna Vekic.

Vekic took the opener 6-2 but the Spaniard has battled back in style.

The winner of that one faces the winner of Emma Raducanu vs Lulu Sun on Tuesday...

  • Shock comeback on?

Woah, what's going on over on Centre?

Alcaraz has dropped the third set against Humbert 6-1.

It lasted just 34 minutes and the defending champion is certainly not having things all his own way.

He looks a bit rattled and is struggling to find his rhythm right now.

  • Keys retires in tears

This is not what anybody wants to see.

Madison Keys has had to retire hurt from her last-16 clash with Jasmine Paolini.

Keys served for the match at 5-2 in the decider but appeared to pull her groin on break point.

Paolini held for 5-4 and then Keys went off court for a medical time-out and got her leg strapped up.

But after being aced for 15-15 at 5-5, Keys - in floods of tears - walked gingerly to the net and retired.

  • Carlos turns on the style

After nine games without a break, Alcaraz shows why he is a three-time Major winner.

Alcaraz gets one set point... and somehow he takes it.

The Spaniard slipped at the back on the court but raced across to put a defensive lob.

Rather than smash it away, Humbert tentatively volleyed it over and Alcaraz chased it down and forced the Frenchman into another volley, which landed just out.

The Centre Court crowd erupts. Alcaraz is pumped. He is one set away from the quarter-finals.

  • Paolini and Keys into decider

Former US Open finalist Madison Keys has sent her fourth round clash with Jasmine Paolini into a deciding set over on No1 Court.

The American dropped the first set, but held her nerve to take the second in a tiebreak.

Whoever wins this match could face Coco Gauff in the quarter finals... and Emma Raducanu in the semis.

  • Alcaraz grabs first set!

It's smooth sailing for the defending champion Carlos Alcaraz so far.

The Spaniard, 21, has played some blistering stuff against Ugo Humbert under the closed Centre Court roof, electrifying the capacity crowd with some sensational winners.

    He leads 6-3.

  • Gushing, absolutely gushing

    Oh. My. Word.

It is throwing it down - this is absolutely horrendous weather.

And the annual drainpipe outside the media centre is flooding across the walkway.

    NOW THERE IS ACTUAL THUNDER!

  • Play continues under the roofs

With the rain coming down over SW19, once again the Centre Court and No1 Court roofs have come to our rescue.

On Centre, Carlos Alcaraz has just got underway against Ugo Humbert. 1-1 first set.

And on No1, French Open runner-up Jasmine Paolini is on fire against Madison Keys, taking the first set 6-3 and then breaking in the opening game of the second.

  • Play suspended outside

Oh dear! The heavens have opened once again and play is suspended on the outside courts.

It's going to be another one of those days...

The covers came on No2 Court with Donna Vekic leading Paula Badosa 5-2 30-0.

  • Players on court!

We are finally set to get underway on Day 7 of the 2024 Championships!

Madison Keys and Jasmine Paolini have taken to No1 Court for their fourth round battle.

Around the grounds, the covers are off and we are also set to get going.

  • Raducanu in the building

Emma Raducanu has been hitting on site ahead of her fourth round match with Lulu Sun later today.

Thankfully, there's no sign of any strapping around the 21-year-old's right wrist.

Raducanu pulled out of yesterday's mixed doubles first round alongside Andy Murray due to "right wrist stiffness".

  • Djokovic worried about tennis

Novak Djokovic laid out his burning concerns about the future of tennis, saying: At club level it’s an endangered species.

The Serbian, a dad of two, spoke out about the state of the sport after winning through to the Last 16 of Wimbledon.

He said: "Collectively we all have to come together and understand how to maintain the sport’s foundation.

“Or create a new foundation, a cornerstone of really what tennis is about, which is the base level.

“Now we have Padel that’s growing and emerging. People kind of have fun with it.

“Tennis is the king or queen of all racquet sports. But on a club level, tennis is endangered.

“If we don’t do something about it, globally or collectively, Padel or Pickleball as it’s called in the States, they’re going to convert all the tennis clubs. It’s just more economical.

“You can build three Padel courts on one tennis court.

“You do the simple maths. It’s just much more financially-viable for an owner of a club to have those courts.”

  • Djokovic on England win

Novak Djokovic has spoken out on Centre Court's reaction to England beating Switzerland at Euro 2024, after enjoying a fun exchange with opponent Alexei Popyrin on court.

The Serbian, 37, said: "I think you could feel, kind of sense the energy of the stadium, that everyone was wondering what the result is.

"I was expecting it to come. If England was to score or to win, a huge eruption of the positive emotions and cheering would come from the stadium, which happened. I assume that England won at that point.

"Popyrin and I did a little fun mocking of shooting a penalty. He reached for it. It was a fun moment. I think then we could actually focus, along with the crowd, on the tennis match.

"It was a big match, obviously. It happened in the middle of our match when it started. Once the roof was closed, obviously the atmosphere became even more loud and electric, as it always is."

  • Wimbledon weather update

The latest here is no play on the outside courts until at like 12.00pm.

With the sun having coming out, there's hope that maybe we will get playing going soon.

But the covers, for now, remain on.

  • Always on Guard

Pep Guardiola was spotted having an "intense" chat with his daughter while watching Cameron Norrie on Centre Court yesterday.

The Manchester City boss, 53, attended Wimbledon alongside wife Cristina and daughter Maria on Super Saturday.

The trio watched the action from the Royal Box, which got underway with home hopeful Norrie's clash with fourth seed Alexander Zverev.

During the match, Guardiola was spotted by BBC cameras appearing to give Maria a tactical masterclass.

The intense City boss animatedly waved his hands as if he were conducting his reigning Premier League champions.

  • Latest play update

It's still raining cats and dogs here at Wimbledon!

As expected play on the outside courts has been pushed back, with no action now scheduled until 11:30am at the earliest.

  • Raducanu looking to book quarter-final spot

Emma Raducanu is second on Centre Court today as she faces Lulu Sun in the fourth round of Women's singles.

The match is expected to get underway at around 5pm BST.

Should Raducanu beat Sun, she will face either Paula Badosa or Donna Verkic in the quarter-finals.

  • Good morning from Wimbledon

We have been greeted by yet another bleak morning of weather here in SW19!

The heavens have opened and the covers are on, making play starting at 11am a distinctly unlikely prospect.

As always we'll keep you across everything happening here at the All England Club.

  • Moment Centre Court erupts as England beat Switzerland

Novak Djokovic's Wimbledon clash was temporarily halted on Centre Court - as English football fans celebrated the penalty shootout win.

England booked their spot in the semi-finals of Euro 2024 with a nervy 5-3 shootout victory over Switzerland following a 1-1 draw.

Trent Alexander-Arnold smashed home the winning spot-kick at 7.40pm.

At the exact same time, Djokovic was in the middle of the second set against Alexei Popyrin of Australia - having surprisingly dropped the opener.

Popyrin was about to serve at 1-4 30-30 when suddenly a massive cheer went up around the 15,000-seater stadium.

And that was because plenty of supporters inside the venue were keeping tabs on events in Dusseldorf.

So when England secured their passage to the final four, fans could not help but celebrate.

As the huge noise echoed around, Djokovic stepped back from his return position and wiped his forehead with his sweatband.

He then jokingly pretended to take a penalty - with his left foot rather than his troublesome right knee, which has a grey support on.

And Popyrin hilariously mimed diving to attempt to save it.
