NFL cult hero Marshawn Lynch in new career venture with Gavin Newsom as Joe Biden replacement rumors circle
FORMER NFL star Marshawn Lynch is set to start a new podcast with top Democratic politician Gavin Newsom.
The unlikely pairing will team together at a time when rumors persist about Joe Biden possibly being replaced as President.
California Governor Newsom would likely be among those considered to do the job if he does step down.
The new show has been announced by iHeartMedia, who admit the partnership is "unexpected".
The show - which will be called “Politickin" - promises to give listeners “the conversations that need to be had".
It will air weekly on all major podcast platforms and will start on July 15.

It has been reported by NFL insider Adam Schefter that Newsom’s team has worked on organizing the show for more than six months.
Lynch was a brilliant running back in the NFL, nicknamed "Beast Mode".
He will be best remembered for his spell with the Seattle Seahawks between 2010 and 2015.
In that time, the Seahawks reached two Super Bowls.

They easily saw off the Denver Broncos for glory in 2014.
Twelve months later, they lost in the NFL's biggest game to the New England Patriots.
Newsom and Lynch have known each other for a number of years.
Newsom served as a character witness for Lynch after he was under investigation by the NFL following a DUI arrest in 2013.
Rumors persist in the political world over the future of President Biden.
Those rumors have come to a head following Biden's unconvincing performance during his televised debate with Republican candidate, former President Donald Trump, last week.

But Newsom has vehemently dismissed claims he could replace Biden in the top job.
He was among the 20 Democratic governors who had a private meeting with Biden at the White House this week.
“It could have gone two or three hours,” Newsom said of the meeting.
“And I mean this with absolute conviction. That was the Joe Biden I remember from two weeks ago.
