Brady recently opened up on his biggest regret after leaving football behind just over a year ago.

He appeared on the popular The Pivot podcast hosted by Ryan Clark, Channing Crowder, and Fred Taylor.

"When I see these young players, I see like Patrick [Mahomes] out there at quarterback, running around, laughing, having fun, I'm like, 'I used to be like that. What the hell happened?''' Brady said.

Bill Belichick

“Tom, good luck buying the Raiders. They did your favorite thing for you already - they got rid of Jimmy Garoppolo.”
Robert Kraft

“Everybody asks me which ring is my favorite. I used to say, ‘The next one.’ But now that I’m retired, my favorite ring is the camera that caught Coach Belichick slinking out of that poor girl’s house at 6 a.m. a few months ago.”
Tom Brady

"There were rumors Coach Belichick was gonna be here tonight. Turns out he has some time on his hands. Look, at least when I was fired somebody else wanted me."
Drew Bledsoe

"I just got too serious, but, again, I can only look back and think, 'Okay, if I do it again, which I'll never do it again, I would be different.' But the reality is, you can't.

"So you learn from it. Now, next phase of life, enjoy it a little more.

"I wouldn't say I took the success for granted. Maybe I took some of the wins for granted, like in the playing career.

"I mean, the reason I fell in love with football was ... never to be a champion. I love just throwing the football."
