Travis Kelce sums up Chiefs fans’ feelings with facial expressions after ‘legend’ makes special training camp visit

The retired NFL player appeared to cause Kelce to laugh in the video

TRAVIS Kelce showed his giddy look at a former Kansas City Chiefs star appearing at Tuesday's training camp.

The star tight end, 34, was spotted walking alongside retired NFL quarterback Alex Smith at Kansas City's practice.

The Chiefs posted an X video of the nine-time Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce walking with the former Pro Bowl signal-caller Smith.

Kelce and Smith know each other as they were Kansas City teammates from 2013-17, during which they made the postseason four times.

The boyfriend of music icon Taylor Swift was certainly happy to see Smith making his way to practice, smiling at the camera while pointing to his former quarterback teammate.

Smith then appeared to say something to Kelce which caused him to laugh.

"Look who made it to camp today!" the Chiefs captioned the post.

And Kansas City's fans matched Kelce's energy in the comments.

"Awesome! Good to see Alex," one stated.

"The legend returns," another wrote.

Smith made the Pro Bowl three times with the Chiefs.

The 2004 San Francisco 49ers No. 1 overall pick also helped Kelce become a multi-All-Pro selection.

Kansas City drafted Patrick Mahomes in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft and sat him that season before giving him the keys to the team's offense the following year.

Smith was traded to Washington weeks after the 2017 regular season.

Unfortunately, he suffered a life-threatening injury to his right left leg during a play in his first season with Washington.

Smith returned to start halfway through the 2020 season after a lengthy rehab process and helped lead the team to a division title.

He was also given the NFL Comeback Player of the Year award.

Smith announced his retirement after being released by Washington in 2022.

During his five seasons with the Chiefs, he threw 102 touchdown passes to only 33 interceptions.

Smith was 50-26 as their starter.

During his 16-year NFL career, he recorded 199 touchdown passes and 109 interceptions.
