The four-time women's champion has been taking a break from wrestling, and has not been seen on TV since mid-January.

According to the reliable Ryan Satin of the Pro Wrestling Sheet, Banks has spent time away to film for the highly-acclaimed programme.

It is not known who she will play in the programme, or how long her character will be involved for.

The 28-year-old - who is Snoop Dogg's cousin - spent time away from the WWE last year after suffering an ankle injury and having a series of backstage bust-ups.

Series director Jon Favreau - famous for starring in Friends and Swingers - revealed late last year his masterpiece would be back before the end of 2020.

He tweeted: "Season 2 of #TheMandalorian coming Fall 2020."
