Taylor Swift fans claim New York Giants hit with ‘karma’ after ‘hater’ reaction to singer’s ad during game

NEW York Giants fans have been mocked for booing a Taylor Swift advert during the G-Men's 24-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Shake It Off artist was at MetLife Stadium the previous day, cheering on Travis Kelce as the New York Jets hosted the Kansas City Chiefs.

The NFL has entered Taylor's era since Swift and Kelce started dating, leading to the singer's two appearences at Chiefs games.

The league even made references to the pop star on their official social media accounts, setting pictures of her as header photo and mentioning Kansas City's 2-0 record with her in attendance.

But some NFL fans are fed up with Swift's takeover, including the Giants faithful.

A large portion of MetLife Stadium crowd booed loudly when the singer's upcoming concert in the arena was advertised during New York's clash with the Seahawks.

Daniel Jones and Co. ended up losing the game after an awful performance – and Swifties rushed to grill the bitter Giants fans on social media.

"And that's why they lost big time!" one wrote.

"I’m very happy the Giants lost. Don’t boo Miss Swift again cause karma will come for you," another added, referencing Swift's latest hit Karma.

A third quoted the song's lyrics in the comment, writing: "Idk much abt football but I do know the Giants booed Taylor Swift and Seahawks devoured them bad sooo karma's a relaxing thought."

And one said: "Grown men hating just because a woman is successful more than they could ever imagine to be. Pathetic."

Swift wasn't the only person subjected to angry boos at MetLife on Monday night.

The crowd showed their discontent with the Giants' play several times as they failed to score a touchdown at home again.

The stadium emptied when Jones threw a red zone interception toward the end of the third quarter, which Seahawks rookie corner Devon Witherspoon converted into a 97-yard pick-six.

The Giants are 1-3 to start the season – and face the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills next.
