TON OF SHADE

I’m an NBA star who’s feuded with LeBron James and Golden State Warriors stars – now Drake mentioned me in his new song

DILLON Brooks' infamy has gone beyond the NBA hardwood.

After feuding with the likes of LeBron James and Draymond Green over the past two years, the Houston Rockets wing has now seemingly gotten some shade thrown at him by rapper Drake.

Brooks, 27, earned a mention in Drake's Another Late Night, which the Canadian artist produced with Lil Yachty for his freshly released album For All The Dogs.

In his opening verse, the One Dance artist raps: "Ayy, thinkin' 'bout this pill I took, pillow talkin'."

He then adds: "Shawty rinsin' Dillon Brooks, can't believe this n**** talkin', damn."

It's uncertain why Drake decided to bring up Brooks in his new song.

Lyrics database Genius suggested that he referenced the Rockets star in response to the 6-foot-6 guard's viral interview from the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

When members of the Canadian national team were asked to pick between Drake or Ryan Reynolds as their favorite countryman, Brooks was the only player to choose Reynolds.

But the rapper, known to be a huge basketball and Toronto Raptors fan, could have also dissed the forward because of his well-documented fondness for trash talk and dirty fouls.

In the 2023 NBA Playoffs, Brooks – still with the Memphis Grizzliescalled James "old" before the Los Angeles Lakers knocked his No. 2-seeded team out in the first round.

The former second-round pick has also been feuding with the Golden State Warriors, particularly Green and Klay Thompson.

Green called Brooks a "clown" and an "idiot" who couldn't contribute to building a dynasty in Memphis as the two traded verbal jabs in interviews and podcast appearances.

"The dynasty starts after you, not with you. That's just a fact," the four-time NBA champion said.

"I know dynasty-like players. They aren't clowns. That doesn't work when building a dynasty.

"Take it from me — I actually know! Clowns don't work building a dynasty, my man."

The Grizzlies didn't re-sign Brooks in free agency as the forward couldn't stay out of the headlines.

However, he then signed a bumper four-year, $86million contract with the Rockets.

And two months later, the forward played a major role in Canada's third-place finish at the basketball World Cup.

In the meantime, Brooks embraced the villain label, saying: "I guess that's my persona."
