Alex Morgan takes wild swipe at Taylor Swift as she tells Travis Kelce’s love interest to come and watch ‘real football’
USWNT star Alex Morgan took a swipe at Taylor Swift's attendance at NFL games.
Swift has exploded in the football world, appearing at three NFL games during the emergence of her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Morgan made it known that she'd appreciate a visit from Swift at one of her San Diego Wave FC soccer matches.
She took a dig at Kelce's sport while she made the callout too.
“There’s an open invitation always,” Morgan said.
“I mean, American football games are fun but real football is even more fun.”

Morgan's teammate Jaedyn Shaw chimed in after the statement, saying "exactly."
Swift has an obvious incentive to appear at NFL games, but a crossover between the pop star and the National Women's Soccer league would be a huge boost to the growing sport.
The 2023 Women's World Cup drew and average match attendance of 30,904, a 42 percent increase over the last tournament.
Morgan is also one of the biggest names in women's soccer, appearing in 213 USWNT games.
