Fans convinced Kay Adams and Shams Charania were ‘flirting’ on live TV as she grabs his phone leaving him shocked
A HILARIOUS on-air moment during Kay Adams' show has left fans convinced there is chemistry between her and her guest.
Joined on Up And Adams by NBA Insider Shams Charania, the topic coincidentally turned to love during the segment in question.
Discussing the budding romance between Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop star Taylor Swift, Adams asked The Athletic reporter whether or not he knew if this was a PR stunt or "true love."
"I love love. I'm a fan of love," Charania said, before attempting to brush the question off, adding: "But you're the NFL insider."
But Adams wasn't taking that for an answer, saying "You wanna know how I'll find out?" before grabbing his cell phone off the desk.
"This is a crime that's been committed," Charania joked, with Adams having cameras focus on his extremely nervous expression.
He went on to say: "My perception of it is I want to be a believer (In Swift and Kelce)."
But the whole exchange had fans discussing a whole other potential relationship instead.
"Bro Shams needs to make his move. Kay is giving this dude all the signs," tweeted one fan.
Another commented: "Flirting on sports news now? Lol."

As one suggested Charania's nervousness was down to him "sitting on a story that he didn't want her to see."
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, after the show, Adams retweeted the clip along with the caption: "'I love love' I can't stop laughing."
As for Charania, he has yet to comment on the exchange on X.
But it's possible the fan's suggestion that he was "sitting on a story" could have been correct, as he has since tweeted that both Devin Booker and Bradley Beal will miss the Phoenix Suns' game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.
