Gronk retired in 2022 for the second time after 11 seasons in the NFL.

He spent nine years with the New England Patriots, teaming up with Tom Brady to win three rings in Foxborough.

Since hanging up his cleats, the 6-foot-6 tight end has reinvented himself as an analyst.

Gronkowski originally linked up with Fox Sports in 2019 after his first retirement.

He has now settled in as a regular fan favorite and joined colleagues Michael Strahan, Terry Bradshaw, and Jimmy Johnson for a special Thanksgiving show from Manhattan on Thursday.

The panel talked all things football, as well as engaged in some flag football with local kids before tucking into mountains of turkey.

And a beaming Gronkowski appears to have found his calling after leaving football behind.

Gronk told The U.S. Sun: "This is the best [Thanksgiving] ever, man.

"I'm with the best co-workers of all time, Fox is the best.

"I'm just thankful for all my family, friends, teammates. And it's just amazing to have football around as well."

He was also quick to rule out any chance of another unretirement, adding: "No, no, I'm loving [the media] so much."

Gronk has dabbled in wrestling away from the NFL and recently undertook a charity skydive on Veteran's Day.

The burly tight end launched himself out of a plane from 10,000 feet, later admitting that he "shed a few tears".

Gronkowski said: "The most nerve-wracking part about it was right before you jumped.

"[My jumper partner] Miguel, he kept me calm throughout the whole process, a couple deep breaths, but he gave me the signal three times to jump and my body just wasn't jumping.

"He was like 'Go! go!' and it just wasn't going and finally he gave me a little push in the back.

"It was one of the best experiences of my life.

"I had a couple tears of joy actually before I jumped. It felt really, really good."

Gronkowski last month teased that he would return to sport in 2028 - but only for flag football in the Olympics.
