Shoppers rush to buy Apple iPad at its cheapest-ever price before Prime Day 2023

AMAZON has knocked down the price for a handful of Apple iPads ahead of Prime Day 2023.
Apple fans are able to get their hands on an 8th generation iPad for under £250.
Prime Day is a global shopping event with deals exclusively for Amazon Prime members, which kicks off at 12:01am on 11 July.
Amazon shoppers in the US already snapped up a great deal for a 9th generation iPad for just $279 (£219), reduced from $329, which appeared in baskets for an even-cheaper price of $250 (£196), Digital Trends reported.
But it doesn't mean that every sweet deal is done.
Amazon is offering the 8th generation iPad for £248 down from £276.45.

There is also a 32GB 6th generation iPad for sale with a pricetag of £159 down from £170, and a 5th generation iPad for £147 from £169.
However, the 8th generation iPad not expected to become cheaper even during the Prime Day deals next month.
But if you buy it beforehand, you'll still be able to return it if Amazon does whittle the price down further and you choose the longest delivery method.

All you have to do is return it in its original condition for a full refund or replacement within 15 days of receipt.
The Apple iPad (8th generation) might be a bit chunkier than the tech giant's newer tablets, but time hasn't rendered it obsolete just yet.
In fact, we're not that close at all.
The device has 32GB of storage which is sufficient for most people's needs.
It supports the Apple Pencil, so you can sketch out designs on the move.
It also has Touch ID support for added security, which suits Apple's decision to get rid of passwords in the form that we know them.
