America’s Got Talent 2024 LIVE — Golden Buzzer winner Liv Warfield leaves judge with ‘big problem’ after shock audition

AMERICA'S Got Talent has left fans stunned with its latest Golden Buzzer winner.

Singer Liv Warfield blew the audience away with her powerful performance, featuring a live band, that left judge Simon Cowell clutching his chest.

"Liv, I have a big problem - that wasn't long enough," Simon said before pressing his Golden Buzzer, sending her to the live shows alongside drone show Sky Elements and last week's Golden Buzzer winners singer Richard Goodall and comedian Learnmore Jonasi.

Fans were left shocked by Liv's audition and shared their reactions on social media.

"Cold chills I had watching her & the band last nite so Amazing," one fan praised on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"I was Simon from the jump, my jaw dropped as soon as she opened her mouth to sing! Her alter ego and Tina Turner LITERALLY possessed her body! Also, the vocals!!! She ate that down! Whoa!" another wrote on YouTube.

    Simon said that there was no rule book and decided to press the Golden Buzzer for the second time tonight!

    "You already had one?!" Howie said. "It doesn't matter," Simon fired back.

    A producer came over to question Simon and said that all of the judges would have to get another Golden Buzzer now.

  • 'I've never seen anything like that'

    The judges were speechless after Sky Elements' drone show.

    Howie was thrilled after the performance and said it was a "huge step for AGT."

    Heidi complimented their imagination and Sofia said it was "breathtaking."

    "It was really patriotic," Simon added as he complimented their ability to use music and drones to tell a story.

    All four judges said yes to Sky Elements.

  • Liftoff!

    The judges have migrated outside to watch the drone show.

    Over 1,000 drones lit up and moved in the air as the judges waited in anticipation.

    The drones then moved to form a spaceship as a voice echoed "5, 4, 3, 2, 1, liftoff!"

    Drones then moved to create clouds as the spaceship traveled through the sky.

    While some fans are excited to see what Sky Elements bring to AGT, others aren't interested in the act.

  • Next act has 'never been done before'

    Sky Elements is a group that performs drone shows in a way that's "never been done before."

    They started out creating insane Christmas light displays, before moving on to pyrotechnics.

    They love doing "big things" and now have a huge show with over 1,000 drones.

    Sky Elements said their talent is "coding" but they're merging science with art for their AGT audition.

  • 'Get up!'

    Simon immediately got to his feet after Bao's performance. He screamed at Sofia to "get up!"

    "One of my favorite acts tonight," Simon told Bao.

    "I hope that your mother never sees you doing this!" Sofia said as she cringed.

    "It was incredible!" Howie added. Bao then awkwardly mistook Howie for Simon.

    Despite his flub, Bao still delivered a flawless routine and received four yes's from the judges.

  • Meet Kung Bao

    Kung Bao is from Vietnam and came all the way to America to compete on AGT.

    He works as a driver and is a devoted husband.

    Bao tests boundaries with his dangerous act. While Raindrops Falling on My Head played in the background, Bao stuck full knives up his nose.

    He then attached chains to his neck and eyes while he put a ginormous pair of scissors down his throat.

  • 'A one-man parade'

    Howie said that Phil was a "one-man parade," combining tumbling, baton throwing, and dance.

    "This was on a different scale," Simon said as he complimented Phil's showmanship.

    All four judges said yes to Phil!

  • Phil Lewis is throwing the baton

    Phil Lewis is a self-taught baton thrower from Georgia.

    He revealed that he listens to Beyonce and has a glazed donut before every performance.

    Phil combines jazz steps with fancy baton tricks for a unique choreographed routine.

    He brought an infectious energy that had all the judges smiling.

  • Sofia is speechless

    Sofia was speechless after the dance group's performance.

    "I know nothing about dance, but I do know when someone is original. It was like a machine," Simon said as he declared they had a "real chance at winning."

    Howie added that they were "amazing" and Heidi said they were her "favorite act of the day."

    All four judges said yes.

  • Japanese dance group takes the stage

    A dance group all the way from Japan has taken the stage.

    The group has been performing for a decade, but they're ready to take their careers to the next level.

    They were incredibly in sync, had distinct musicality, and delivered a jaw-dropping performance.

  • Kat & Jay take the stage

    Kat & Jay are an acrobatic duo and took the stage for a unique performance with a unicycle.

    Sofia and Simon hit their red Xs and all four judges said no.

    Sofia said that it felt like the duo just started performing.

    Liv Warfield is a singer from Chicago, Illinois. She sings a medley of rock and soul.

    Liv is a full-time performer and has even worked with Prince.

    "The industry is really hard because things have changed over time, but I continue to push," she told Simon.

    She has a full band with her including multiple saxophones, trombones, and trumpets.

    Liv grasped the audience with her first note and proved that she has a one-of-a-kind voice.

  • Simon bows down

    Simon bowed to Nini after her stellar performance.

    "That was unexpected and spectacular!" Sofia said, adding that this is what AGT is all about.

    "Your playing is insane," Heidi added.

    "It's like I'm at a Nini/Van Halen concert!" Howie joked.

    "Anyone would be mad not to immediately put you on tour with them," Simon added.

    All four judges said yes to Nini!

  • Nini is taking a chance

    Nini is a folk metal musician from Taiwan. Her dream is to become a performer.

    She took the stage with three archaic instruments to perform an original song in honor of her culture.

  • Meet the Otama Collective

    The Otama Collective is a trio of classical performers.

    They took the stage with unique instruments that were decorated to look like the judges.

    Unfortunately, the trio was not able to finish their performance as all of the judges pressed their red X button.

  • Fans react to Alexander's routine

    Fans are reacting to Alexander's dance routine on X, formerly Twitter.

  • 'You remind me of Howie'

    Heidi joked that Alexander reminded her of Howie.

    Simon said that Alexander's routine reminded him of a drunk uncle at a wedding.

    Sofia said she oddly enjoyed it but still voted no to send Alexander on.

    Alexander is a dancer who performed alongside Milli Vanilli and Vanilla Ice.

    He gave up his passion a long time ago to become a financial advisor but wants to prove he still has it.

    Alexander joked that when he's at events, people always ask his wife if he's "as good in bed as he is on the dancefloor."

    He performed a hip-hop routine to The Weeknd's Blinding Lights.

    All four judges hit their red X lights and Alexander was not able to finish his routine.

    "It was incredible to watch! Well done everyone," Heidi told the acrobats.

    Howie had one word for the group - "Unbelievable!"

    "That was heart-stopping, that was dangerous," Sofia added.

    "I've seen an act similar to this - but this was a step up," Simon said.

    All four judges gave the Hakuna Matata Acrobats a yes to move on.

    The Hakuna Matata Acrobats are a group of acrobats from Tanzania.

    They're performing their act for the first time in front of a live audience.

    One acrobat stood on a plank balancing on a circular object and lifted the other three members into the air!

    Each movement was riskier than the last and the judges were on the edge of their seats the entire time.

  • Ashes and Arrows are in!

    Ashes and Arrows received three yes's from the judges.

    Howie voted no and was immediately met with boos from the audience and Simon!

    Simon told the audience that they should've booed Howie louder.

    The audience ate up Ashes and Arrows and leaped to their feet after their performance.

    "This means a lot to you, yeah?" Simon asked as the band began to tear up.

    Howie complimented their harmonies but said that the band was more fit for a pub. His critique was immediately met with boos from the audience.

    "I think it was a nice song," Heidi said, to which Howie responded, "Aren't we looking for great!"

    "I thought it was great!" Sofia quipped. Simon agreed with Sofia and Heidi.
