Mohamed Walji is a principle general practitioner at the Balsall Heath Health centre and has a keen interest in genetics and its impact on illnesses seen in primary care medicine. He has been active in discussing the genetics behind cousin marriages and designed a genetic screening programme in the local community with some success over a period of 20 years
