Margot Robbie and her husband Tom Ackerley are expecting their first baby, multiple sources have confirmed to PEOPLE.

The 34-year-old Barbie star was pictured this weekend on holiday in Lake Como with her baby bump on show in a white crop top. Margot and her husband of 11 years first met in 2013 on the set of the World War II drama Suite Française. They tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Australia's Byron Bay in December 2016 but it came as a surprise for some as the couple kept their engagement a secret.

The news comes after paparazzi photos surfaced of the two vacationing in Lake Como, with Margot displaying her baby bump in a white crop top and a blazer over her shoulders. The two were getting on a yacht and seen all smiles.

The Mirror has reached out to Margot's representatives for comment.

In an interview with Vogue back in 2016, Margot opened up about her relationship with Tom and the first time they met. She said: "I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him."

Margot added: "And then it happened, and I was like, 'Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.'"

Last month, Tom spoke to The Sunday Times about how he and his wife balance both their personal and professional lives. The two have kept their marriage extremely private. He said: "It’s seamless. We don’t have a toggle on, toggle off. It’s all become one thing."

Margot and Tom were friends first and collaborated on a four-person producing team at LuckyChap, which also included her childhood friend Sophia Kerr and Josey McNamara. The company worked on TV shows and movies with Margot in them like Saltburn, Promising Young Woman and Barbie.

Barbie broke records in the box office and made history when it premiered at the same time as Oppenheimer on July 21, 2023. Fans called " Barbenheimer." Combined, Barbie and Oppenheimer grossed more than $1 billion globally.
