UNIBET has really improved in recent years to put itself amongst the big guns in the bookmaker and casino market.

I'm a big fan for several reasons. As well as its user-friendly sportsbook and huge racing section which is ideal for a racing fan like myself, the welcome deals are consistently amongst the strongest in the market.

Things I love about Unibet UK

  • The huge standalone racing section - I love this being separate from the sports section, offering racing fans a host of betting insights, tips and betting opportunities.
  • A huge catalogue of live-streaming and in-play bets are available
  • Lots of popular and niche sports to bet on

Things to improve at Unibet UK

  • It's not always easy to connect to customer service
  • In my opinion, the sportsbook for desktop is inferior to mobile

Latest Unibet offers and bonuses for sports

As I mentioned, Unibet's different bonuses for new customers is up there with the best any UK bookmaker is offering at present. Not just that, I also take advantage of their existing customer offerings now too. Here’s what’s on offer at the time I write this.

Welcome bonus

Unibet currently offers up to £40 cashback with a £10 bonus if your first qualifying bet loses (wagering terms apply - see below). You’ll need to place a £1+ bet on a sports market that’s at least 2/5 or 1.40 odds. If you win, you get your prize money and stake – but if you lose, that’s up to £40 and £10 to use in the Unibet casino. I consider it a second chance!

I'm not a huge fan of the wagering requirements, I must admit. The requirements mean you’ll need to bet your bonus received back 3x before you can go onto withdraw winnings. Bets on virtual sports, greyhounds and horse racing aren’t included.

For horse racing, there's also a 'Bet £20 and get 2 x £10 free bets', which is a great offer if racing is your main sport of choice when it comes to punting.

These are only available if you’re a new customer, over 18, and a resident in the UK. And I would advise only doing this when you're ready to select a bet, as your qualifying bet must settle within seven days of the bonus period.

Fancy the deal? I don't blame you. Simply click or tap ‘Register’ (or the blue Claim Offer below) and select the offer. You can then fill out your details and claim your freebie. Full terms and conditions apply, so please make sure to read them.

Accumulator bonuses

Unfortunately, there's no specific accumulator bonuses available at Unibet at the time of writing. However, make sure to sign up for promotional emails and to check the website’s promotions tab for the latest news as and when it arises.

Offers by sports

One offer I am a frequent user of at Unibet is their money-back specials, where you can claim a max refund of up to £20. You’ll need to bet at least £1 to take part, and your money back is payable as cash if your horse finishes second. Again, terms and conditions apply.

Racing fans can also claim extra places in specific races which is often a big help to racing punters like myself who go in search of a bit of value. This means that you could stand to win on bets even if your horse finishes in fifth place! There’s no need to opt-in on this deal, as it’s valid on selected meetings and festivals defined by Unibet.

I can say for sure that Unibet has one of the largest promotions sections for both new and existing customers out of all British bookies operating now, so it’s worth bookmarking its promos page and following the brand on social media for the latest updates.

How to claim your welcome offer

Not get a Unibet account? You can claim your welcome bonus by opting in during the registration process. Your bonus bet(s) will apply to your account when you place and close your qualifying bet.

Other bonuses may require you to enter a promo code when making a deposit, or simply by opting in via the promotions page.

How to sign up at Unibet – step by step

Here’s how I registered at Unibet:

  1. I used my iPhone and the Unibet app to register but there's more than one way to do it.
  2. However you do it, head to the main website or app and click ‘Register’ - this is generally a yellow box and I found it easy to source (top right for PC)
  3. I then chose the welcome deal I wanted and clicked ‘I want this offer' - there's two great sport offers to choose from at this time.
  4. I was asked for my full name, email address, and date of birth, and selected my gender option. Then it was a case of choosing my secure password.
  5. One clicking through to the next screen, I just had to enter my address and mobile number
  6. I was asked how I would like to receive bonus and promo news from Unibet as well as to agree that I've read the terms and conditions
  7. I'm in! Punters may need to pass verification checks before you can make a deposit, which may mean that you need to provide a valid photo ID and details of utility bills

How to place a bet

Placing a bet couldn't have been easier I don't think. Log into your Unibet account if you're not already in and select ‘Sports betting’ from the main menu. A list of popular events, in-play markets, and upcoming events will pop up.

Search for an event or market that appeals and tap the odds you would like to bet on (for example, 5/1 for Newcastle to beat Manchester City in a Premier League match).

Then, enter the amount you would like to bet in the box that appears. Click or tap ‘Place bet’, and the wager will come out of money in your Unibet bankroll.

How to get the most out of live streaming with Unibet

Unibet offers a huge range of streaming events. As well as most 'popular' sports, I was able to find streams for lesser known and lesser watched sports – such as volleyball, just for example?

My top tip if betting in-play on these live streams: Try not to leave betting on live-streaming events too late in the play. You never know when things might change!

You can either watch on the go via mobile or at home through your desktop device.

Unibet payment methods

Unibet currently allows payments through the following methods:

Unibet withdrawal options

You can withdraw from your Unibet balance using any of the following methods:

  • Bank transfer
  • Neteller
  • Trustly
  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Apple Pay
  • Skrill

There are no fees to withdraw money from Unibet, and processing/transfer will typically take from a few hours to five working days. It’s quickest to withdraw through e-wallets but I find withdrawing to debit card is relatively quick.

Unibet minimum deposit

This is a huge plus for me. Unibet has a minimum deposit of £5 which applies across all card and online banking methods, with a maximum of £10,000 also applying. There are no fees to deposit at Unibet.
