THE traditional roulette wheel undergoes a dazzling transformation in Mega Fire Blaze Roulette. Instead of numbers, the wheel is adorned with various symbols representing different bet options.

As the wheel spins, my anticipation builds, and I must strategically place my bets on the symbol I believe the wheel will land on.

But that's not all – the game's signature feature, the Mega Fire Blaze jackpot, adds a thrilling twist. Get ready to experience the fusion of roulette and flaming fortunes like never before with Mega Fire Blaze Roulette!

The Mega Fire Blaze series has expanded to include a roulette wheel, creating an exciting twist on a classic casino game.

Before starting, players have the chance to set their own table limits from four options. As someone who enjoys roulette games, but is by no means an expert, I thought these were well set out, straight forward to understand and the table limits seemed reasonable. I selected the third option as I enjoy even money bets, and the third set had the lowest minimum bet value for even bets but retained a high maximum bet size.

What’s different about this roulette wheel is that it’s brought over elements of the Mega Fire Blaze slot games. That includes the four jackpots (Mini, Minor, Major and Grand). As this feature isn’t common among roulette games, and offers additional chances to win cash prizes, it makes the game stand out among the copious roulette helpings.

However, I would say that it wasn’t immediately clear how these jackpots could be won (other than a pop up informing me that any straight up bet could trigger the feature). I had to seek out the rules page (a small icon in the top right-hand corner) to learn more. That’s where I also learned about the Mega Fire Blaze Bonus. It’s a bonus feature that is enabled if the ball lands on a number that the player has placed a straight up bet on AND has been randomly selected as one of the fire balls for that spin.

While the look is pretty standard of a roulette game, I think the additional branding and features of the Mega Fire franchise help to make Mega Fire Blaze Roulette much more memorable and enjoyable to play.

About Mega Fire Blaze Roulette

Mega Fire Blaze Roulette has become highly popular as a live dealer game with a unique spin on traditional roulette, but it’s also available as an online table game with all the same features.

  • Software provider: Playtech
  • Minimum bet: £0.10
  • Maximum bet: £10,000
  • RTP: 97.30%
  • Roulette type: European
  • First published: 2020 (online) / 2021 (live version)

The online and live versions are virtually identical. For example, in both the bonus round has a grid measuring 3x12 divided into three sections of six squares each. Each square can increase your winnings by a multiplier value of up to 5x. Additionally, there are four fixed jackpots available: Mini (20x the bet), Minor (100x the bet), Major (500x the bet), and Grand (2,000x the bet).

Regarding visuals, the lower half of the screen features the betting table and racetrack, while the centre displays a live feed from the casino with dynamic camera angles (in the live version).

The left side includes a menu bar for accessing features like game statistics, paytable, and game history.

Where to play Mega Fire Blaze Roulette

To help you find the best online casinos to play Mega Fire Blaze Roulette, we'll share a few of our top choices.

1. William Hill

The individualised brand experience you'll receive is the most evident benefit of playing Mega Fire Blaze Roulette at a dedicated William Hill table. The dealer is dressed in a William Hill uniform, although the game is otherwise identical to the version available for general play.

2. Unibet

A popular name among punters, Unibet also has a dedicated casino section. If you’re a fan of other roulette variants, you’re spoilt for choice here, with 39 roulette games. Fans of Playtech's other games will also enjoy the extensive range of slots available at this casino.

Mega Fire Blaze Roulette strategy

From high-risk options with full multiplier payouts to more conservative approaches that protect your bankroll, explore different roulette strategies below:

1. Straight up strategy

Under this tactic, you place wagers on all available numbers to ensure coverage of every possibility. Whenever the chosen number is hit, you gain access to the bonus round.

Nevertheless, the drawback is that out of 37 bets, only 29 will be returned, resulting in moderate loss for each bet made. Pursuing this strategy requires a significant bankroll and a willingness to take on risks.

2. Split Bet strategy

To implement this strategy, you make 19 bets that cover all available numbers, thereby securing a bonus when it is successfully landed upon. However, in the event that the bonus does not materialise, you will suffer a small loss.

In comparison to the previous strategy, this split bet strategy necessitates a smaller bankroll but is profitable only if there are frequent instances of multiplier hits.

3. Line bet strategy

We recommend using this strategy as the last option as the multiplier is reduced to one-third upon winning. By placing a bet on each line to cover three numbers, you ensure your participation in the bonus round when it arises, while using a smaller portion of your bankroll.

However, it is important to note that the payout is lower. It is crucial to carefully consider the advantages and disadvantages and decide whether a one-third payout is worthwhile.

4. Sections of the wheel strategy

Use section bets, such as Straight up and Split Bets, to cover specific portions of the roulette wheel. By adopting this strategy, you can reduce the number of chips required and prolong the lifespan of your bankroll. However, it's essential to ensure that the Bonus Round is still triggered.

This strategy can be advantageous if you prefer not to cover the entire wheel but instead concentrate on a particular section. The aim is to rely on favourable numbers appearing within that area.

We appreciate this strategy as it involves placing smaller bets while still maintaining a chance of winning. Although it doesn't guarantee the occurrence of the Bonus Round, it effectively safeguards your bankroll for a longer period.

Mega Fire Blaze Roulette features

Mega Fire Blaze Roulette has several bonuses and features you can take advantage of, whether playing live or online:

Mega Fire Blaze Bonus

The Mega Fire Blaze Live Roulette Bonus Round consists of a grid divided into six sections, with 3 rows and 12 columns. Each section is assigned a multiplier of either 2, 3, or 5x, or it may contain an unknown Jackpot value. Four Jackpot multipliers are available: Grand - 2,000x, Major - 500x, Minor - 100x, and Mini - 20x.

Fire Blast

The Fire Blast round is activated randomly when the numbers associated with fire are selected on the betting grid. 10 numbers are chosen in this round, significantly increasing the likelihood of hitting a fire number on that spin to nearly 3 in 1.

Cascades complete

The orbs (see below) ‘cascade’ onto the game grid. Once they do, these things can happen:

  • The multiplier value is applied to all orbs for every set of six completed sections. The difference from the initial total is added to determine the final multiplier total.
  • If a section containing all Jackpot Orbs is completed, a small wheel appears and spins, determining one of the four jackpot types. This value contributes to the final Multiplier total.
  • Your ultimate payout is calculated based on the multiplier total and the type of bet you placed.
  • The highest possible win multiplier in the game is 10,000x, with a maximum payout of £500,000.

Multiplier orbs

Multiplier orbs, each with a random value of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, or 50 times, descend into the grid during the bonus game. When an orb sticks, its value adds to the overall total. This cascades process repeats three times. If none of the orbs sticks, the count decreases by one.

However, if at least one orb sticks, the count resets to three. The bonus round concludes when the count reaches zero or the grid is filled.

Free play

Spectator mode is available for the live version of the game.

  • Straight up: Betting on a single number.
  • Split: Betting on two adjacent numbers by placing the chip on the line between them.
  • Street: Betting on three consecutive numbers in a horizontal line.

  • Red/black: Wagering on whether the ball will land in a pocket of a particular colour.
  • Even/odd: Wagering whether the ball will land in an even or odd-numbered pocket.
  • High/low: Betting whether the ball will land in a high (19-36) or low (1-18) numbered pocket.

Mega Fire Blaze Roulette house edge and payouts

The house edge and payouts in Mega Fire Blaze Roulette are based on the same principles as European Roulette. Here's an overview of the house edge and payouts for the different bet types:

  • Straight up: 36x bet
  • Split: 18x bet
  • Street: 12x bet
  • Six lines: 6x bet
  • Corner: 9x bet
  • Red/black: 2x bet
  • Even/odd: 2x bet
  • High/low: 2x bet
  • Dozen: 3x bet
  • Column: 3x bet
  • Snake bet: 3x bet

The house edge of 2.70% indicates that, on average, the casino will retain 2.70% of all bets in the long run. It's important to note that these payouts and house edge percentages are based on the standard rules of European Roulette, which are followed in Mega Fire Blaze Roulette until a Fire Number is landed.

In this game, one to five numbers receive a multiplier, with the possibility of doubling the multipliers through the Quantum Leap feature. However, the maximum cap for multipliers is always set at 500x. When players have a bet on a winning number with a multiplier, they receive a payout ranging from 50x to 100x their bet.

Evolution's Lightning Roulette

This game was the first live roulette variant to introduce multipliers. Like Quantum Roulette, players place their bets, and one to five numbers are struck by virtual lightning. This assigns random multipliers ranging from 50x to 500x. If a player wins, they receive the multiplier immediately.
