Brady had initially retired in 2022 before U-turning on the decision weeks later.

And now, a year to the day after his first retirement announcement, the GOAT has told his fans he's leaving again — but this time "for good."

"I'll get to the point right away. I'm retiring. For good," Tom told said in an emotional video on Wednesday.

"I know the process was a pretty big deal last time so I woke up this morning and I figured I'd just press record and let you guys know first so, it won't be long-winded.

"You only get one super emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year, so really thank you guys so much for supporting me.

"My family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors - I could go on forever, there's too many.

"Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn't change a thing. Love you all."

Brady spent 23 seasons in the league after the New England Patriots drafted him in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft.

He won six of his rings with the Patriots before leaving for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020 and adding another championship to his resume that same season.

The Glazer family, who own the Bucs, said: "Tom's impact on our franchise these past three years has been immense and we are appreciative of the time we had with him here in Tampa Bay.

"He set an exceptional standard that elevated our entire organization to new heights and created some of the most iconic moments in our history."

Not long after returning to play for the 2022 campaign, the GOAT divorced Gisele Bundchen in October following thirteen years of marriage.

Bundchen will reportedly break the silence on her split from the NFL legend in an upcoming "Vanity Fair cover story."

His Tampa Bay side went 8-9 in the regular season and fell short of another Super Bowl visit after losing to the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card last month.

Brady ended this past season with 4,694 passing yards — third most in the NFL — and 25 touchdowns.

He's leaving the NFL as a three-time MVP, two-time Offensive Player of the Year, and five-time All-Pro first-team quarterback.

The California native led the league in passing touchdowns five times in his career and logged the most passing yards in four seasons.

He recorded 7,753 passes for 89,214 yards and 649 touchdowns, by far the most of any QB in NFL history.
