AEW Full Gear RESULTS: Chris Jericho retains belt against Cody Rhodes while Jon Moxley beats Kenny Omega in brutal fight

JON MOXLEY literally crawled through broken glass and barbed wire to defeat Kenny Omega in a brutal main event at AEW’s Full Gear.

The duo literally tore each other apart – even leaving the winner’s WWE star wife Renee Young retching and grimacing.

Omega had produced a broom covered in wire and began sweeping it over Moxley’s back.

He then brought out a bag full of broken glass, slicing at Moxley, before the pair both went through a mattress of more barbed wire.

After first tweeting “WTF” at what she was watching, Young then wrote: “Hi. Yes. Hello. I hate this.”

Her man would go on to claim victory in the bloodbath after pulling up the ring apron and exposing the wood boards.

Omega came off the top rope with an attempted Phoenix Spash, but he missed and crashed head first into the pine.

After failing to get the three count, Moxley then hit Omega with an elevated Paradigm Shift to claim the win in a sick encounter.

Chris Jericho retained his AEW World Championship against Cody Rhodes after a shock turn by MJF.

Le Champion had Rhodes locked in the Walls of Jericho, but the contender was refusing to tap out.

Seemingly unable to watch his best friend suffer anymore pain, Rhodes’ corner man MJF threw in the towel to leave the referee with no option but to call for the bell.

The devastated Rhodes forgave the heartbroken MJF afterwards, but as the two embraced, the latter would punt his former buddy straight in the crown jewels.
