AXED Love Island star Munveer Jabbal has admitted he feels ‘frustrated’ after being dumped from the villa.

The 30-year-old got the boot last night alongside side Patsy Field in a shock twist, which saw their fellow Islanders pick them out of the bottom three couples.

Those watching at home were not happy about the decision after spending days begging bosses to send in a bombshell for Munveer, who they felt had been ‘edited out’.

They claimed the hunky businessman - part of the original 2024 cast line-up - was looking like a "spare part" in the Mallorca villa after failing to find a true spark.

And now Munveer has broken his silence as he headed home to the UK, sharing his upset about what happened.

Speaking on his Instagram, he told his followers: “The overriding feeling is frustration, but deeply grateful for the opportunity, I didn’t just go there for the  long holiday.

“I did go there to find love but unfortunately it didn’t happen. That’s fine.

“I am just feeling excited for what happens next and above all, thank you for all the comments, it means so much to me. Very kind words which make me feel so much better about myself.”

Munveer was very popular with viewers thanks to his looks and despite some jokes that he was using the experience as a holiday, others questioned why he wasn’t being shown on screen.

During his time on the show he was coupled up with Patsy but admitted there was something missing.

Speaking about his exit, he shared: “There was a little spark to begin with but as we got to know each other more there I could tell there was something missing.

“She’s obviously a very nice girl and very attractive but we were just lacking that spark.”

Ronnie is loving having his cake and eating it, he’s going to be even worse in Casa Amor

By Jessie Hutter

Ronnie seems to really be enjoying having his cake and eating it at the moment. So I think an environment like Casa Amor would probably exacerbate that even more.

I don't see the connection between Ronnie and Harriet as being particularly of real genuine depth or a meaningful connection. It seems like the two of them are quite enjoying this secretive, flirty, sort of hidden connection that they have going on. I don't think that will stand the test of time.

And I think those sort of connections do quite often fizzle out quickly.

I think that the way that things are unfolding is a recipe for disaster. Anything that's born into disaster might end in disaster. So I don't think that the public will be seeing them as a particularly favourable couple.

He then tried to make a move on Jess, but she was rather preoccupied in her love triangle with Ronnie Vint.

Reflecting on the situation, Munveer said: Jess is a really cool girl and her personality really shone through.

“Unfortunately my timing was a little bit off given the Ronnie situation and in hindsight I didn’t approach it in the right way.”
