She made £21.5 million in 2018 - making her the UK’s highest paid supermodel with earnings over double her nearest rivals.

Cara, 27, easily surpassed rivals Kate Moss and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who earned £9m and £8m.

She nearly doubled her earnings in 2018 after bringing home £12.46 million in 2017.

And she splashed out £1.5million on Jared Leto's Hollywood home in 2017.

The jungle-themed home even has its own sound-proof party bunker with disco lights, a mirrored ceiling and pole-dancing facilities.

She also has a luxury townhouse in West London where her extravagant decoration includes a tribute to her favourite restaurant, McDonalds and also a double loo for gossiping.

The Georgian house was "in need of a facelift" when she bought it and so she drafted in family pal and interior designer Tom Bartlett to put his stamp on it.

When she's not at one of her luxury homes Cara loves to travel and in 2017 she spared no expense when she splashed a staggering £100,000 on her lavish birthday celebrations.

She whisked a gang of her girlfriends off to the Mexican jungle to enjoy a week at the five-star wellness retreat, Chable.

The luxury resort is described as a “hedonistic hacienda” and boasts the world’s largest private tequila collection – a whopping 1,000 bottles.

A night at the Royal Villa costs an eye-watering £5,755 per person.

But even with millions in the bank, Cara has previously said money doesn’t make her happy.

Speaking on a podcast last year she said: “I definitely had a very privileged upbringing in terms of being able to travel and growing up in London, which I feel was incredible for me.

“Having a wonderful family and my father . . . he didn’t grow up with a lot of money and he is extremely ambitious and driven to look after his family and all of us.

“I also realised money is not everything. You get to the point where you’re like, ‘Oh, I’ve made money but I’m so deeply unhappy and alone’.”

But Cara isn’t only making money in the modelling world, as she’s also a director of her family’s property empire called Harvey White Properties Ltd, along with sisters, Poppy and Chloe, and father Charles.

And she’s also in demand for film work and has starred in a string of movies like Suicide Squad, has written a novel and also released two albums of her music.

Talented Cara has also designed clothes for Burberry and DKNY.

And her tax bill is pretty jaw dropping as well.

Her latest set of accounts sent to government department Companies House show that over a two-year period she handed over more than £2.9 million to the exchequer.

That’s an eye-watering £28,961 a week or £4,708 a day.

The books reveal that in 2018 she paid £2.1 million to Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs and in 2017 her bill was around £800,000.
