George Michael’s late sister leaves just £6m despite inheriting bulk of his fortune

GEORGE Michael’s sister left just £6million after dying without a will.

Melanie Panayiotou and older sister Yioda were thought to have inherited the bulk of the pop legend’s £97million fortune.

But probate papers show Melanie’s estate was valued at £6.2million after her affairs were settled.

Hairdresser Melanie died aged 59 on Christmas Day 2019 — exactly three years after George.

Yioda, now 63, found her at their late brother’s mansion in Highgate, North London.

London’s High Court formally issued probate to the family last week.
