MEL B has allegedly been accused of taking cocaine in front of her children in shocking new claims as she battles her ex Stephen Belafonte in court.
The mum-of-three is facing fresh drama after Stephen alleged she has been battling a secret addiction to drugs and alcohol.
Court documents have revealed her estranged husband Stephen made a legal declaration claiming her drug and alcohol abuse was the real reason for their marriage breakdown - after she accused him of domestic abuse.
The paperwork, seen by The Sun Online, details the bitter feud between Mel, 42, and Stephen after they split late last year.
The declaration was filed at Los Angeles Superior Court, and it was handed over along copies of dozens of text messages between Stephen, Mel, and Beverly Hills marriage therapist Dr Charles Sophy.
At one point, the film producer, 42, alleges Mel might be taking drugs in front of the kids.
He said he was especially concerned as she had sacked the family's nanny.
In the legal papers, he stated: "The biggest reason for my concern with respect to the safety of the children was due to the Petitioner’s habitual and consistent addiction to and abuse of cocaine and alcohol.
"To make matters worse, my fear for the children’s safety was amplified due to the fact that Petitioner had fired the children’s nanny, who had been in the children’s lives since 2010...
"And I did not want Petitioner using drugs and drinking around the children especially without anyone else present to care for the children.
"Petitioner’s drinking and drug abuse had been a major issue throughout our marriage and was witnessed by the nanny, the children, and her own therapist, Dr Sophy."

He claimed the issue had been made worse after Mel fired nanny Lorraine Gilles and later accused her of bedding Stephen and aborting his baby.
The submission also revealed that Mel had agreed to take a drug to help combat her alcohol addiction so she could care for her kids, Madison, turns six , Angel, 10 , and Phoenix Chi, 18.
She was said to be taking Antabuse, a drug which gives the user a sensitivity to booze and makes them feel hungover almost immediately after drinking alcohol.
The court documents also reveal the singer was having injections of Vivitrol every 30 days from March this year.
They are used to prevent relapse in alcoholics and those who are dependent on prescriptions drugs such as painkillers.
Dr. Sophy was also believed to have been administering regular tests on Mel's hair to make sure she was clean.
Stephen also addressed the former couple's child custody battle over his daughter Madison and step-daughter Angel, whose dad is Hollywood actor Eddie Murphy.
In the text messages that were sub submitted along with his declaration, Stephen claims the pop star went back on a promise to let him see Angel as well as Madison.
He wrote in the declaration: "'I am the step-parent to Angel and I have been the only father that Angel has ever truly known since her infancy.
"I did not want either Madison or Angel hurt or damaged by this divorce.
"The most important thing to me was to protect the well-being of our children.
"Petitioner and I agreed and prepared our children and told them together that nothing was going to change after this divorce and that the only main difference is that we would just have two separate homes..."
The papers also reveal that Angel thought Stephen was her biological father right up until the split.
The papers stated: "Throughout our marriage and even post-separation, Angel had no idea that I was not her biological father."
"The children cried and I assured them that Petitioner and I both love them and would see them all the time and I would never leave them."
TV psychiatrist Dr Sophy is believed to have been acting as an intermediary between the warring exes and was even seen supervising Madison during a visit with Stephen.
They split in December after 10 years of marriage, but the news was only made public in March when the singer filed for divorce.
Mel later lifted the lid on their troubled marriage in explosive court documents.
She filed them as part of a request for a restraining order to keep Stephen away from her.
Mel accused Stephen of being physically abusive, and alleged he beat her so badly before The Factor final in 2014 she had to pull out.
The bitter divorce battle has been complicated by a lawsuit from former nanny Lorraine, who is suing Mel over her affair claims.
According to reports, Stephen will only get a fraction of the Spice Girl's £48million fortune due to a prenuptial agreement.
In July 2017 it was reported Mel is paying Stephen £30,500 a month as emergency spousal support and is covering his legal fees to the tune of £106,900.
