Lauren joined the Irish Sun as a digital intern in 2013, having studied Journalism at Dublin City University. Whilst reporting and acting as a homepage editor, she implemented a new social media strategy. In 2016, she helped with the relaunch of thesun.ie website. She was later promoted to Digital News Editor with a focus on breaking news, features and quirky stories. In 2019, she was promoted to Deputy Digital Editor. She helps to manage the digital team and also works to drive growth to sections including News, Fabulous, Money and Travel. In 2024, Lauren was promoted to Content Editor Lifestyle.
