Tony is a Digital Sports Reporter for SunSport. He joined the team as a freelance reporter in April 2022 after previously working for CaughtOffside and BenchWarmers covering mainly football. Tony graduated from the University of Brighton with First-Class honours in Sport Journalism in 2021, writing a dissertation on the pros and cons of expression in sports circles on social media. His exclusive interviews with SunSport include Dimitar Berbatov and Ally McCoist. Features he has written include evergreen content such as the legend of seven buried black cats cursing a rival club in Argentina and Xabi Alonso's stunning watch collection, as well as football tactics and stats features. At University, Tony was the online editor for the student web page. He featured on the back page of the biannual Uni magazine after speaking to leading motorsport journalists about the career and future prospects of Lewis Hamilton. His favourite topics to write about are Football and Formula One, but he has covered a diverse array of sports, from Surfing and Darts to Boxing and Skiing. Tony is also proficient in the use of video editing software.
