Solskjaer set for awkward meeting with Man Utd predecessor Mourinho at Uefa Elite Club Coaches Forum
OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER will come face-to-face with predecessor Jose Mourinho on Monday.
The pair will be attending the Uefa Elite Club Coaches Forum in Nyon along with the likes of Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola.
Mourinho recently took a sly dig at the United board for protecting the Norwegian who is in a "great situation" at the club.
The unemployed Portuguese boss was sacked last December and was replaced by Solskjaer on an interim basis before he was made permanent manager.
But the Special One believes Solskjaer is lucky for the constant reassurances he receives at Old Trafford, in contrast to the atmosphere under his tenure.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Mourinho said: "They did some good PR in the week to make it absolutely clear or create positive atmosphere for the game.
"I’m going to try and get a job like Ole has, and speak all the time about the future.
"I think it’s a great situation, three-year contract – the future, the young players. I think it’s a great job to do in such a giant club."
Klopp and Guardiola's meeting could also be awkward just a day after their huge title clash.

Under pressure Arsenal boss Unai Emery will also be in attendance in Switzerland although fans on Twitter are questioning why Solskjaer is included in the "Elite" group.
One said: "'Elite' coaches and they invited Ole? That's definitely someone taking the p***."
Another added: "Man said Ole and elite coaches in the same sentence you know."
