The actor took the stage at the Glastonbury Music Festival in England Saturday night during the band's headlining set ... and, ya gotta watch the video 'cause it's a tear-jerking tribute to the film and TV legend.

The vid kicks off with Chris and the crew jumping into their hit song "Fix You" -- Michael's already onstage, sitting in a wheelchair and holding a guitar on his lap.

The "MADtv" alum posted an update Tuesday from his hospital bed, and revealed doctors found 2 polyps during his colonoscopy. In his caption, Aries admitted he was previously worried about the procedure ... confessing he'd rescheduled his appointment out of fear doctors would stick a massive camera up his butt.

Aries cited homophobia in the Black community as the reason more Black guys aren't getting the health screening done.

Barry Sanders suffered a heart-related medical scare over the weekend ... the NFL Hall of Famer announced Friday.

The former running back said the health issue happened out of nowhere on Father's Day, but did not go into detail on what he experienced.

"It was unexpected and served as a reminder of the importance of staying vigilant about our physical well-being, even when we are feeling fine," Barry said in a statement released by the Detroit Lions.
