The 2024 Emmys will be one award show you won't want to miss.

Eugene Levy, 77, and his son, fellow Emmy winner Dan Levy, 41, are set to host the 76th Emmy Awards on Sunday, Sept. 15. The ceremony will air live from the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles on ABC from 8 to 11 p.m. ET/5 to 8 p.m. PT.

Ahead of the annual awards show, the first promo of the father-son duo was released on Sept. 3.

“We’re hosting the Emmys and this year they’re going highbrow,” Eugene Levy begins, with Dan Levy interrupting, “No, they said eyebrow. They want you to make bad jokes about your eyebrows, which you’re not doing.”

Eugene Levy then asked, “Why don’t they go through proper channels? My brows have their own agent.”

When news of their hosting duties were announced, the two actors shared how thrilled they were.

“For two Canadians who won our Emmys in a literal quarantine tent, the idea of being asked to host this year in an actual theater was incentive enough,” said Eugene and Dan Levy in a press release. “We’re thrilled to be able to raise a glass to this extraordinary season of television and can’t wait to spend the evening with you all on Sept. 15.”

Eugene Levy and Dan Levy are known in part for starring as the father-son duo in “Schitt’s Creek.” Eugene Levy shares his son with his wife, Deborah Divine, and the couple are also parents to their 37-year-old daughter, Sarah, who also had a role in the comedy.

In 1983, Eugene Levy and Deborah Divine welcomed their first child into the world. Dan Levy has followed in his famous father's footsteps.

Along with "Schitt's Creek," he's known for acting in a variety of TV shows and movies, such as 2013's "Admission," 2020's "Happiest Season" and 2023's "Good Grief," which he also directed.

When he made "Good Grief," Dan Levy didn't tell his parents anything about the film. He said on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna in January he kept his father "far away" from the project for a reason.

“I think we’d collaborated for so long, this felt like something I really needed to do on my own, and I wanted it to kind of be a surprise to them I think, partially, because it’s such a risky thing to go and do something unexpected,” he said.

The movie, which follows a new widow as he grieves the loss of his husband, brought Dan Levy's parents to tears when they saw it for the first time.

“My parents were very moved by the movie and were crying a lot, and it was a wonderful thing,” he said.

As for his working relationship with his dad, Dan Levy told TODAY in March 2021 that he thinks it's great.

“You have to really respect the person you’re working with and I think when you do, it makes for a very easy go of things,” he said. “I have so long admired what my dad had done and … I think he really let me have space to find my own footing.”

In 1986, Eugene Levy and Deborah Divine welcomed their daughter, Sarah Levy, into the world.

Like Dan and Eugene Levy, Sarah Levy also decided to pursue a career in acting. She's known for playing Eli in 2011's "Larry Crowne," Susan Ireland in "SurrealEstate" and Twyla Sands in "Schitt's Creek."

In 2021, Sarah Levy got married to her longtime love Graham Outerbridge. In honor of the special occasion, Dan Levy shared a picture of himself partying at his sister's wedding on Instagram.

He captioned the snap, "My sister got married this weekend. This is absolutely not a photo of us screaming the lyrics to S Club Party on the dance floor. Love you, @sarahplevy."

Then, in May 2022, Sarah Levy had more happy news to share with the world. On Instagram, she announced she was expecting a baby with her husband when she shared a photo of herself showing off her baby bump.

“We’ll take all the salt & vinegar chips and the hottest hot sauce you have, thx!” she captioned the sweet picture.

The couple later welcomed their son, James Eugene Outerbridge, in July 2022.

In an interview with Babe by Hatch, Sarah Levy said she paid homage to her father with James' middle name.

"My dad was incredibly touched that we named him James Eugene, and honestly, I could not imagine any other middle name for James," she said. "In my family we name people after middle names. It was just a nice way to honor my dad."
