Emily juggles 2 jobs for a while

After Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) quits Savoir in the Season Two finale, Emily has to decide whether she wants to keep working under Madeline (Kate Walsh) or follow Sylvie as she embarks on the journey of creating her own PR firm.

For a while, she plays double duty, working for both Sylvie and Madeline, without telling either of them. Luc (Bruno Gouery) unintentionally spills the beans one day when he goes to Savoir to pick up the laptop he forgot there. While there, he runs into Madeline and mentions how Emily is working with Sylvie now, much to her surprise.

Madeline crashes Sylvie's client dinner at the Eiffel Tower to confront Emily and makes a scene when she suddenly goes into labor.

Once Sylvie hears that Emily has been working both jobs at once, she fires her. Emily continues to work with Madeline for a while, but they struggle to keep clients who have traditionally been loyal to Sylvie.

Luc suggests Madeline try to woo Sylvie back because the clients love her, but it doesn't work.

When Madeline informs Emily that they're both returning to Chicago, Emily quits and says she wants to stay in Paris. She now finds herself without a job.

Sylvie launches her new PR agency

Sylvie soon learns just how much work it takes to run your own PR agency. When she gets an offer to join luxury goods company JVMA along with her team, she runs the idea by Luc and Julien (Samuel Arnold) but they decide they're better off working as an independent agency.

Soon enough, Sylvie admits that she could use Emily on her team and brings her back into the fold. After a few days of being unemployed, Emily accepts the offer.

With Emily back on board, Julien feels frustrated on several occasions when she unintentionally intervenes in his client pitches. He has an outburst in one meeting and asks if she has an "off switch."

In the season finale, he sends an email to someone saying he's considered their offer, presumably a job offer.

Things are going well for Emily and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). Then, he announces that he’s moving back to London. He seems willing to make their relationship work long distance, but she’s distracted by work and misses his going away party.

The duo doesn’t talk much for the next two weeks, then Emily gets a major surprise when she realizes that Alfie never moved to London. Antoine offered him a job at his company and he’s been living in Paris. Even worse, her friends Camille (Camille Razat) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) knew but didn’t tell her.

Emily eventually wins Alfie back and their relationship flourishes.

Camille cheats on Gabriel with an artist

When Camille gets to know Sofia (Melia Kreiling), an artist, she's instantly attracted. They begin to have an affair. Emily sees Sofia and Camille kissing at a party, but keeps it secret. She later confronts Camille.

Meanwhile, Gabriel opens up to Emily about his concerns that he might be losing Camille because she's been acting a bit distant lately.

When he's drunk one night, Gabriel tells Emily she "changed" his life. While talking about her and Camille, Gabriel says, I love you both."

Gabriel and Antoine open their restaurant

Early in the season, Gabriel and Antoine (William Abadie) clash over a difference of opinions related to their restaurant. Eventually, they learn to work together. Gabriel even gets a stake in the restaurant and the opportunity to rename it "L'esprit de Gigi" after his grandmother.

With the help of Luc's former girlfriend, Emily tries to get Gabriel a Michelin star and informs him in the finale that he's well on his way to achieving that goal.

Mindy gets a new singing gig and love interest

After performing with her band at a local jazz club, Mindy (Ashley Park) scores her own regular singing gig. The only catch? Her bandmates aren’t included. Luckily, her boyfriend/bandmate Benoît (Kevin Dias) is supportive and encourages Mindy to pursue the opportunity.

Mindy runs into Nicolas (Paul Forman), an old friend from boarding school, one night while out and about with Emily. He also happens to be the son of Louis de Leon (Pierre Deny), whose company JVMA acquired Pierre Cadault (Jean-Christophe Bouvet).

Their connection causes problems when Nicolas wants to buy the rights to the song Mindy recently recorded — the love song Benoît wrote for her.

Benoît insists that there’s more to life than money and says the song was meant to be just for her. When Nicolas sends Mindy flowers, Benoît feels insecure. Over time, their relationship fizzles out and Mindy starts dating Nicolas.

At first, Emily is supportive of Mindy and Nicolas' relationship. After all, Nicolas is a great friend to have in her industry. But over time, Nicolas and Emily disagree over JVMA's plans to get rid of Pierre and have his nemesis Grégory Duprée (Jeremy O. Harris) replace him.

Emily and Sylvie work to save Pierre, resulting in an embarrassing moment for Nicolas in front of his father. From there on out, things are pretty tense between Emily and Nicolas and it affects her friendship with Mindy.

Alfie eventually tells Mindy how her boyfriend is behaving and she confronts him, saying Emily is "family" and he needs to apologize.

In other news, Benoît shows up to tell Mindy that their band’s song, “Mon Soleil,” was accepted into the Eurovision Song Contest.

Sylvie has fun dating Erik (Søren Bregendal), but her husband Laurent (Arnaud Binard) puts a strain on their budding romance when he shows up on several occasions.

Sylvie and Laurent agree to give their marriage another try.

Even better, Laurent plans to open another club in Paris so he can be around Sylvie more. The only catch? He needs financial backing from Louis de Leon, who mistreated Sylvie when they used to work together.

Despite his earlier concerns that Camille was pulling away, Gabriel decides to propose to his girlfriend. She beats him to it during a romantic outing.

Camille's family throws an engagement party for them. Camille sees Gabriel hugging Emily after she gives him the good news about his restaurant being on track to receive a Michelin star.

An excited Gabriel suggests that they turn the party into a wedding and Camille agrees. At the altar, Camille calls off the nuptials and tells Gabriel, “You don’t have to do this.”

The bride says she knows Gabriel has been in love with Emily since they met. She tried to prevent them from getting together by making a pact with Emily that neither of them would be with Gabriel. After Camille walks away, Alfie tells Emily he’s “nobody’s second choice” and encourages her to go after Gabriel.

Gabriel shares Camille's big secret

After the wedding that never was, Emily and Gabriel talk outside. He shares a progression that affects everyone's future: Camille is pregnant.
