Alessandra Amodio Title: Associate Photo Editor Based in New York City, Alessandra Amodio is a fine art photographer and a digital photo editor for Travel + Leisure. Growing up in a Catholic household, Alessandra developed a passion for artisanal foods and fine wine, creating the fodder for her project “The Time We Spend Together,” a photo essay that focuses on the pre-established gender roles of a classic, immigrant-based Italian Catholic household. Alessandra attended college at the School of Visual Arts where she earned a bachelor’s degree in fine art, with a concentration in photography and video. She worked as a photo intern for several New York City-based companies like Kate Ryan Inc. and the XO Group Inc., where she conducted photo research for projects and edited images and videos for digital channels. Prior to her role at Travel + Leisure, Alessandra was the assistant photo editor and digital photo editor for Newsweek and Meredith Corporation, respectively.
