After earning a B.A. in English from Yale University, she began her career manning red carpets and covering pop culture history, lifestyle, and news for People magazine. As platforms editor, she spearheaded People’s presence in emerging digital spaces, helping the publication reach new audiences. Then, she transitioned to her current role covering the outdoor and activities beat and hosting short-form videos as senior commerce editor for Travel + Leisure. In this job, Lydia exercises her love for travel (she studied abroad in Paris and backpacked throughout Southeast Asia) by crafting reviews and giving recommendations on trending products to pack along on your journey.
