Before joining Dotdash Meredith, Ivy held managing editorial positions at Apartment Therapy, Country Living, Food Network star Ree Drummond's The Pioneer Woman, The Knot, and more. She's written, edited, and overseen commerce content for every facet of travel you can imagine—including destination weddings, domestic road trips, the best smart travel accessories, and beyond.

Ivy grew up in Florida, lived in NYC for 12 years, and now resides in California, but holds hiking boots and flip-flops in equal regard. She'll always be up for touring the nearest historical home, is a firm believer in not asking for too many recommendations before a trip, and always leaves her travel toiletry bag stocked up and packed, ready to go for the next time.

Ivy has a master’s degree in Publishing from Pace University in NYC and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Editing, Writing, and Media from Florida State University.
