This is a great broker for all things but platform management. They need to create a department to consult with customers and improve the functionality of their platform. Especially when the request is very basic and necessary. Some of the buttons and hot keys that don't work are as basic and essential as breathing is to living. Here is an order ticket I submitted below. If anyone from IB monitors these reviews, please respond or search my name and web ticket on your end.
I would like to speak with someone about getting the stop order button and profit taker buttons functioning in Charttrader. Can I please discuss this with someone in the platform programming department? When I scale into a position with my hotkeys, I cannot quickly set a stop order and profit taker without opening the create bracket order preview window. We should be able to click a stop order button and then click on the chart where we want the stop to be. Same as profit taker.
This is a very basic function that should exist and I can guarantee will have a substantial impact on thousands of your customers. This is not an abstract function. This is literally as important as a functioning basic buy or sell button which do work on charttrader.
Can you guys please take action on this and get it done??!! Or at least let me talk with someone who codes and designs the functions on charttrader. Please!! This will be a huge value function for your momentum scalping customers and very basic to complete. These are also your commission cash cow customers.

I am using HKIB. The customer service staff is ery helpful. Recently, I call their hotline to ask about money transfer, the CS explained very clearly, When they find a beter solution, they called me back and tole me, it is really surprising me! Exellent service they provide!

I have been with Interactive Brokers for many years now and they are the best broker I have used, by far.
Their Trader Workstation platform is the best in the industry. It shows everything you need to make a trade, on one page, and gives you the option of configuring that page to suit your individual needs.
I have always found the staff to be very helpful, whatever the issue.
IB also have very comprehensive reports, and if you need a unique report you can often configure one yourself.
IB have some of the most competitive commissions around, which is not the main reason I like them, but helpful.

The mobile app and web portal have a good interface for entering trades and orders. Only thing that lets it down is the charting and lack of functionality, hence 4* instead of 5*

Absolute worst broker,
-immense slippage entering trades
-fees are supposed to be one of the lowest on IKBR when it's clearly not...
-App crashes frequently during trades, when I restarted the platform was down a lot of money.
-and inefficient platform for scalping

Low fees, great & fast customer service, the platform could use some improvement
I've used few brokers and nothing is as reliable and cheap as IB, easy to buy/short almost any stock.
For a European trader, it offers one of the best EUR/DOLLAR exchange rates+fees
Customer service is great, for what you pay you have fast and good answers, I've been able to solve any problem I've had with them
The platform itself has given me some problems, it has logged me out during the open 1-2 times. You def need to pay extra or get some other software through their APIs

I have completed the withdrawal procedure. and nothing happens. The support service is not responding. for a month .I've just been waiting for my funds to be withdrawn for a month. and nothing. an operation that takes 15 minutes in any bank. in fact, my funds have been stolen.

Terrible service. They have blocked my account for no reason and can't reset password. I call wait many minutes, they can't get me access. Finally I get access and then a week later account is blocked. No reason given have to go through the same process. Customer service not polite or helpful.

Fabulous trading platform. Professional content well organized. It may take some time to get used to it. I am sure I only use a fraction of what is available for information, but that changes over the life of an investor. Especially well done is the year-end reporting for the IRS. One can just do a print out and submit it to the accountant. I am with IB now for more than 20 years and have always been happy.

The platform keeps logging you out and not allowing you to work in multiple tabs like some terminal from the 80s. It's not possible to withdraw to a Revolut Bank UAB account, it always fails their validity check, even if you provide correct IBAN, BIC/SWIFT and even Correspondent BIC. They keep saying it hasn't passed a validity check and their "client services" communicate like robots, unwilling to help you with the issue. Have kept my money locked since 2 years ago.

Absolutely terrible customer service. They cannot answer basic questions, and just send cut-and-paste answers that are not helpful in any way. Find a better broker. How can I trust a company to help if something serious goes wrong, when they can't even answer simple questions? Do not trust your money with this broker.

When I call IB services from long distance Taiwan, they spend 40+ minutes to guide me in using IBRK mobil APP,it's great experience.

I have wrote the following in the past:
they can have the most convenient fees on the market but as their customer service is inexistent I guarantee everyone that is unpleasant to put their wealth in a broker that literally DOES NOT RESPOND to clients.
I admit that they now they started to respond and proactively follow up with me to address the questions/problems I have with a fast back and forth...so I don't know if my previous message had an influece but I must admit that if they started to work on their customer support to make it efficient...provided that they fix that...they can be considered one of the best broker on the Market.
PLEASE MAKE A GREAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT SERVICE and you will be fine

Overall I'm satisfied with IBKR, here is what can be improved:
1) Outdated user interface - looks like it came from 90th. Look at M1 how it might look
2) IBKR website - low performance, response time is not acceptable as for 2024 year
3) Support team - an user has to wait several days before he/she gets an answer in his/her ticket. Absolutely not acceptable
