Worst online banking system

Worst online banking system. System prompts for a one time passcode regardless of using the same device for several years.
Transfers work only half the time. Very frustrating

SANTANDER Has issues AND refuses to…

SANTANDER Has issues AND refuses to improve. I recently did a credit transfer out of Santander that they refuse to acknowledge to Experian. As a result my credit rating has suffered. I requested them to check this with Experian which they are refusing to remediate. I am going to take them to the ombudsman. Just collecting the full facts.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. Kept me waiting for months (and several attempts) for a credit card application, all because of technical issues at their end which they described as a 'corrupt file'. Endless calls to try and sort it out, hours on hold and multiple promises broken.

To add to that, I've just moved home and tried (3 times now) to change my address. A month on, they are still sending me statements to the wrong address. Tried to call, on the phone for 40 minutes and was told I had to stay on the line for them to try and resolve it, so I gave up. Useless and pitiful bank.

Unreasonable policies - avoid!

They asked me for an unreasonable number of documents (including my wife’s bank statements). I was annoyed but thought easier to comply, so submitted everything they asked for. Then I missed 1 follow-up call from them and they restricted my account.

They did this on the last day of the month so all my direct debits and standing orders failed before I had time to resolve.

By far the worst bank I have dealt with. I expect they will fail.

The worst bank in the UK

The worst bank in the UK. They can't handle current customers so they bully new ones by asking for unnecessary and irrelevant documents for months.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. My estimated wait time has been less than 1 minute. It's been 30 minutes.

I regret getting a loan with them. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Terrible

I applied for a credit card with them, and now whenever I use it it gets declined. Then they send me a text alerting me about suspicious activity, then I have to confirm it's me then do the transaction again with the merchant. I can't build credit if they decline my transactions every time I use it.

Absolute worst company. Avoid at all costs.

I called this bank yesterday to pay the…

I called this bank yesterday to pay the car full, 3 hours i waited on the call because they said wait 30 seconds , wait 2 minutes and i waited 3 hours, this is the most annoying bank i ever ever experienced.

One word: Emily. Genuinely the most helpful and sympathetic wonderful person i have ever had the pleasure of encountering in customer service. I was stressed about my finances and she talked me through everything and fixed my problem in like 3 minutes flat. Friendly and wonderful!!! Emily if ur reading this, Sophia says thank you !!!!!

They love your money, just not you.

OK interest rates but very poor online apps, flaky, unreliable and inconsistent between devices.
Customer service wait times astronomically long.
If this is how they treat new customers what are they like when they think you're locked in?
Like the security level.
Seriously a bank that still need telling when the cards are going to be used abroad. If you do, let us at least put in several ranges of dates for several countries.
Will switch else where as soon as current enticement offers end.

Worst bank ever, worst customer service, aggressive fraud department. Do not use this bank, there are many other high street banks available that are by far and away better in ALL areas than Santander

Is it just me or is Santander really…

Is it just me or is Santander really going downhill? I made a transaction online via Bank transfer as I did every month and now the fraud team are all over it. But the thing that really really upsets me is that I'm disabled and have a very ill daughter I need to transfer money to. But Santander have frozen my online banking which is not fair on me, hell knows when I'll get online banking back, I hope it's very soon as I will take civil action and sue the bank!

High Street Kensington branch

I had a superb experience in Santander, High Street Kensington on Friday 7th June, approx 2pm. I’d only queued up after the ATM rejected the cheques I intended to deposit. The young male cashier (brown short hair) sorted out several account blunders of mine I.e. a more suitable savings account and set it up voluntarily, something I had overlooked. He was articulate, super helpful and knew his job. Well done & thank you.

Blocked online Banking

This bank is awful. It's been two years since they blocked my account without any specific reason. was been told that the account is under review since then I never heard anything from them. Now that I am reaching out them as I badly needed the found that was in the account (2500 pounds when it was blocked) the are hanging up on me several times. Did someone to help me with the escalation number where I can reach out to someone in higher hierarchal position so I can have a clue on what's going on.

Very very slow

Ever since the new update Im having lots of problems signing it, imagine in the middle of shopping I wanna transfer and oopss not working. I have to use the website cant deal with this anymore Im thinking of closing the account, we want fast and reliable transactions not slow.

This is the worst bank I ever had…

This is the worst bank I ever had account with.
All the time something here its not working.
No customer support at all
You have bank account with santander.
You have money in your bank account. I'ts friday evening and You have to pay money to someone before midnight its about death and life for this person,
something its not working here,...
you cant sent payement to this person by mobile app, can't use telephone banking line cose its open Mon-Fri 8am to 8pm at same time you need to do some purchase online and pay with your santander debit card but you strugling to finalize transaction cose payement its not going trought.

Do not worries!!!
Call customer support in monday from 8am then you will have oportunity to speak to customer support. A real life person a customer assistant will try to help (dosent metter its like 3days later becose here at Santander we are like family and we love eachother. Time its not important for real Santander customer becose when you with your loveones you shouldnt count a time)

Thank you Santander Bank you are perfect at all, perfect in money and time wasting.

Recover password does not work

it is a pity a name such as Santander offers a bank and user experience with such a low level. The recovery password does not work. The overall UX is light years away from most of the other banks, even the old ones. To be redone completely.
Attractive interest but not a great feeling of trust frankly

Worst business bank ever

Worst business bank ever , They have closed all the branches in Sheffield apart from one and that is closed having a refit for weeks, and both holes in the walls are out of order too . How do they expect companies to bank . You can’t even pay a cheque in on your phone with the business account. Unbelievable!!!
