Ethan at Goldsmiths in Meadowhall, Sheffield made our experience in choosing a new Wedding Ring truly amazing, wonderful and memorable.
On ordering a replacement Wedding Ring which was chosen and ordered to the correct size was in store and ready within a week of placing my order...
And it was in store ready for collection on our Wedding Anniversary 15th August 2024..

Goldsmiths Merry Hill

Visited Merry Hill Branch of Goldsmith’s on 15th August 2024 to purchase 9ct Gold Pearl earrings. The sales assistant was very polite and helpful. The earrings were not in store and so she placed the order for us and confirmed the earrings would be delivered to my home the next day.
DPD delivered on time as promised. The only problem we had was slight damage to the lid to of the presentation box.
I went back to the store and explained that the earrings were for a present and the Gentleman who attended to us was very helpful, he said that he would get the box replaced and gift wrapped. We were also offered a drink whilst waiting. In all our experience with the store was first class and we would not hesitate visiting this store in the future.

Beautiful ring that was worth the wait!

Wife was looking for a replacement of her wedding band that was becoming worse for wear after 30 years & was delighted that the wedding band she had been looking for was reduced in the sale with her size available. Had to wait 7 days for it ( although we were advised on this) but the anticipation & excitement of receiving this was well worth it. It was beautiful & a perfect fit. We no longer have Goldsmiths in Aberdeen after many shops closed down after Covid, but are delighted that we were able to order this online with ease

Ordered at 6pm Wednesday, received 2pm Thursday!

I went into the store at 6pm to view and order an item. Whilst it was not in stock, the gentleman serving me, said it could be delivered directly to my house the next day, and if need be it could be changed if the look of it was not right. At ~2pm the next day the delivery was made in non-obvious packaging (it was a gift) and the internal packaging was very robust and nicely presented - very happy with the service and would use again.

Unnecessary Hassle

You sent me an email to say my goods were ready to be picked up at Goldsmiths in St Anne Street Manchester on getting there your colleague could not find my order despite searching the shop (she was very helpful) she also noted that the address given for Goldsmiths was not their actual address, she finally rang your head office to be told the order was at Mappin and Webb across the road so i went over there and it was found there (once again very helpful service)
Just an unnecessary hassle!

My New Calibre 5 Aquaracer

Hi Goldsmiths Team, Thanks for sending me the watch that I ordered on line. It's everything that I was looking for, I've been wanting to buy a Tag for many years, and I feel really good wearing this one.
The thing that made this a good customer experience was that the watch was a good price, I received it in a reasonable amount of time, and it was all packaged nicely, with attention to detail.
A couple of questions that have crossed my mind since getting it:
The watch was advertised as second hand, and was priced accordingly, yet it looks like it's never been worn, and is in mint condition.
Secondly, I'm wearing it all the time and am monitoring it compared to a radio controlled clock, and it gains half a second every hour. Could you please recommend the best course of action to have it adjusted to be accurate. Also, what is the realistic level of accuracy for an automatic watch.

Well the service given to me was…

Well the service given to me was amazing didn't expect it do be delivered so quick. But truth be told I haven't opened the package because I bought the gold necklace for my wife and her birthday is 27th of August. So hopefully wen it's opened on her birthday then can now say goldsmith are the best. So for now it's pending

Where do Extremely Happy

Where do I begin, I ordered on line a pre owned watch to pick up in store,
When I went to pick it up it was beyond all expectations, it was like new, serviced, polished and a 2 year guarantee, together with a free watch winder,
I was helped by Anthony who went beyond the call of duty,
My watch compared to many sold by Goldsmiths was of a lower price than many they have, but I was still dealt with as if I had spent multi thousands,
The Winder didn't turn up with watch, no problem Anthony sourced one which I now have,
All I can say is I searched for the best deal, and yes you can get some cheaper but when you take the overall package Goldsmiths have a much better package,
In short I'm Extremely Happy

Bought a pair of wedding rings

Bought a pair of wedding rings, which were put on order.....5 weeks later my ring turns up 2 sizes too small. I had already travelled to Westfield twice to the store which is 50 miles away from my address. Wasn't expecting I would have to make a third trip and have to drive and pay parking fees again. Lady second time was a bit rude to be honest. Took her ages to offer me a drink, after a hint. To be honest if you are paying alot of money for gold, they should treat you respectfully or at least offer to may your travel expense. I wouldn't consider Goldsmiths again. Beaverbrook was far superior with customer service for the engagement ring.

The service was second to none, Fantastic!
Ordered the watch on Tuesday around 10:00 and it arrived 14:00 the next day, the watch was well packaged and in pristine condition with all the protective wrapping.

Defective ring after 4 weeks of waiting for order

Unfortunately the ring I ordered online and received after 4 weeks of waiting is defective, 1 side of the bezel has not been smoothed and is still rough, and the ring has a wider width on one side that then the other, which is strange. I'll be going into the store to return it so they can see what the issue is and sort it.

Manchester Trafford centre Upper.

Purchased a wedding band online from Goldsmiths. 4 week delivery but well communicated. It didn't fit so I rreturnedit to the store. Very good service instore, and very knowledgeable. Reordered the correct size and it arrived within 72 hours. Very nicely packaged too.

Staff go out their way to make you feel great and get what you want with your budget

The staff at Brent Cross went way and above their duty to help me sort a special birthday gift which wasn’t in stock. Especially went out of their hours to another store to collect it for me. Lisa the manager at Brent Cross was especially incredible, truly so helpful and made me feel like I was spending millions dollars when I wasn’t. I have to also mention the other staff Sophie and shine who I have been looked after in the past with other purchases. They are also been so friendly, helpful and warm to deal with. Thank you. I will keep shopping there and thank you to all staff for looking after me so well as I know you treat all customers x
