Usually pretty good site for seedlings…

Usually pretty good site for seedlings and plants - nice healthy plants, well packaged, good delivery but this summer I think some of my order went a bit wrong.
I ordered 5 Anagalis - a spreading ground cover plant, looking at them this morning they look like upright small white snap dragons. I also ordered 10 Giant Antirrhinum and got 5, but got 5 extra 'Anagalis' which were labeled on the box.
Ordered Nicotania Whisper Mix which look stunning- nice big healthy seedlings which turned into impressive plants.

Beautiful plant…

Beautiful big healthy Lonicera plant arrived in double quick time, it's growing away already. I appreciated the packaging which contained little or no plastic, apart from the pot.
(My only slight problem was with the website which I still find quite counter-intuitive, eg I searched for Lonicera on the site, and nothing came up.)

Unfulfilled order

I ordered five plants over a month ago and deliberately selected plants that were in stock so that they would be delivered within a week. I received one plant after a three week wait and the remaining plants still haven’t been delivered. The Yodel app is telling me that it can’t give me any information on my order. I’ve emailed Sarah Raven to request a refund and haven’t had a response.

Disappointing

Well what a disappointment this year’s purchases have been. I am normally very happy with the quality of the plants and the service from your company, but not so this year. Out of this order, I received some very weedy looking orlaya, from which only one survived (was refunded). The “wild meadow collection” was never delivered. My account was refunded but with no explanation as to why. The “prettiest cosmos collection” turned out to be almost all tall white ones, with just two apricot and no pink. The only success has been “strawberry fool chantily mix”. So my pretty pastel garden I had envisaged has been a dismal failure. I’m not seeking a refund, but merely passing on feedback. Clearly you have had issues this year, maybe it was the weather, who knows?

Easy to order and delivery within…

Easy to order and delivery within stated time.
Package arrived in very good condition, delivered as notified.
Plants arrived in good condition, cosmos a little spindly, but that might be expected at this time of the year.
All in all, all good, keep up the standard.

Varied results with plants ordered

Delivery good. Plants I ordered are having mixed success, the cold wet weather hasn’t helped. Pelargoniums growing well, but no flowers. Dahlias growing well, buds on Thomas Edison, no buds yet on Rip City. Chrysanthemums still very small. Zinnias very poor, only one flowering well. Dancing partners - cosmos good, dahlias small, some flowers on dahlias.

I placed an order in March

I placed an order in March, which was never fulfilled. I gave them plenty of opportunity to send it, but poor communication and lack of time made me request a refund. The full amount was not returned. Very poor communication and service from a company that I had previously shopped with for years.

The order arrived in good time

The order arrived in good time, and two of the three orchids arrived in great condition. The third was rotten, but their customer support was great and have arranged to send me a replacement without any fuss.

Feels like this company has grown too fast.

Ordered tarragon in May. It didn't arrive with other items in order. FAQ said items may arrive separately so waited three more weeks. Phoned Customer Services who said they would sort out. Three weeks later still no plants. Phoned again, told plants were not available. Got an apology and a refund.

Fantastic healthy

Fantastic healthy , strong dahlias at an amazing 70% off. Ordered and delivered expertly in 2 days ! Plants were large in 3 litre pots and could easily have got damaged because of their bushy growth. But they were packaged so professionally that they were in a wonderful fresh condition. Well done Sarah Raven I have been a customer for over 2 years and you never disappoint! But this was exceptional!

Brilliant in every respect.

The garden was exactly as the photos on the website showed, in fact I think better.
The moment you walk into the gardens you feel a sense of peace and calm. Even the gift shop was a joy, everything on sale was relevant to flowers and gardening, no cheap tat. Very clean and pleasant café
and happy courteous staff. And I loved the chickens.

Everything worked as expected

Everything worked as expected. The plants were packed well and sufferred no damage in transit. The plants were healthy and strong and excellent quality. The order was perfect in every way.

Reliable supplier of plants

Reliable supplier of plants. Plant desired had been out of stock but I was informed as soon as it was available. Packaged well so travelled without damage. Plant has a good rootball and I was easily able to repot it into a slightly larger and sturdier pot after letting it rest one day after delivery.

Impressively good condition

This was the first time I'd bought a plant from the Sarah Raven website, knowing things were a bit more expensive there. However, I am extremely impressed both with the quality of the lovely 'Runaway Bride' hydrangea and with the fantastic condition it arrived in. The only other time I've bought a live plant (other than plugs) on line, the plant arrived squashed and with broken stems. This plant arrived in perfect health. Highly recommended for someone wanting a specimine plant.

Not happy!

I have ordered plants and seeds from Sarah Raven for very many years and have generally been satisfied with the quality and service…but not this year!
Plants have arrived in a terrible state with many broken, squashed and unusable. I emailed a complaint on 15th June and eventually received a reply on 3rd July about something totally unrelated. I emailed back immediately but with no response at all to date.
I also ordered a packet of Rubenza cosmos seeds which have turned out to be white.
So sad as I thought Sarah Raven really cared about her plants and business.
