Kirinyaga: Tears as Woman Kills Her 2 Children After Picking Them From School

A family in Kirinyaga county is grieving after a woman killed her two children shortly after picking them up from school.

How did the Kirinyaga woman kill her children?

Residents claimed that the woman allegedly told the school management that she wanted to attend a funeral service with her children.

The woman then reportedly took them to a swamp in the Ndia area of Kirinyaga county, where she allegedly drowned them, Citizen TV reported on Tuesday, July 16.

"She picked her children from school then brought them here and threw them into this swamp here," one resident said.
"When the children were removed from the water, they had already passed on. I have confirmed that they are indeed no more. These children were my friends," another resident said.

Police arrived at the scene and took the bodies to the morgue as onlookers watched in disbelief, questioning why a mother would take the lives of her own children.

The motive behind the woman's alleged cold-blooded killing of her children has not yet been determined.

Kajiado man kills himself after killing daughter

In a separate incident, a man from Kajiado killed his daughter before taking his own life.

Isinya Sub-County Police Commander Patrick Manyasi confirmed the incident, attributing it to marital differences between the man and his wife.

The police boss termed the incident unfortunate, arguing couples should seek counseling when faced with marital issues.
