Is new Boston Celtics rookie shooting guard Baylor Scheierman the Sam Hauser backup plan? The Celtics picked up Scheierman with the final pick of the 2024 NBA draft's first round, and the former Creighton wing has a play style that is fairly similar to that of Hauser.

The Virginia alum did just have his team option picked up by Boston's front office, but that ironically might make the Celtics lose him in free agency at the end of next season as a result. The hosts of the CLNS Media "The Big Three NBA" podcast, A. Sherrod Blakely, Gary Washburn, and Kwani Lunis, took a closer look at the impact Scheierman could have on the Celtics, especially in light of the uncertainty surrounding Hauser's future.
