See Argentina's celebration after World Cup victory as overjoyed fans welcome team home

The Argentina soccer team were greeted by thousands of overjoyed fans lining the streets of Buenos Aires to celebrate the World Cup champions.
People waited throughout Tuesday night to try to get a glimpse of the soccer team that won one of the greatest World Cup finals.
The team, led by captain Lionel Messi, emerged from the plane with coach Lionel Scaloni around 3 a.m. in Ezeiza, right outside Argentina’s capital, to the rock band La Mosca singing “Thank you, champions” for a day of celebrations.
Argentina defeated France Sunday, earning the nation's first World Cup championship since 1986 and the country’s third overall. The team came heartbreakingly close to victory in the 2014 World Cup final.
