I had been using an Android phone. I did not want to pay the outlandish price asked for an Apple IPhone, but Verizon had a package which allowed me to get the phone "free" as a new customer.

The display has rounded corners. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screen is 6.68 inches diagonally. Actual viewable area is less.
Battery life varies by use and configuration; see apple.com/batteries for more information.
iPhone 14 Plus is splash, water, and dust resistant and was tested under controlled laboratory conditions with a rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 6 meters up to 30 minutes). Splash, water, and dust resistance are not permanent conditions. Resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Do not attempt to charge a wet iPhone; refer to the user guide for cleaning and drying instructions. Liquid damage not covered under warranty.
Service is included for free for two years with the activation of any iPhone 14 model. Connection and response times vary based on location, site conditions, and other factors. See apple.com/iphone-14 or apple.com/iphone-14-pro for more information.

It's fine, but I am not feeling like it is so much better than the smaller SE that I had before. The 14 plus is bigger, but that's about it for improvements. Think the camera seems about the same in terms of quality although I thought it was suppose to be a lot better. Battery life is longer.

This is an overall decent phone. Good screen, decent cameras, decent performance, but this phones battery life is absolutely 😣 . After 1 and a half years of use, I can’t even get through a whole day of use without it running out of battery. Although this is a cheaper alternative to the pro models, it is pretty much a rip off. Even the base pro model of the 14 is probably better than this phone. Better cameras, Dynamic Island, and a better screen and refresh rate. Overall, this phone does the job fairly well, but if you want a better screen, better battery life, and overall better experience, please upgrade to the pro models. it is only like a hundred or a couple hundred more for way better features and performance
